22 year old kelvin was an established paraglider. 5 years worth of flying time had taught him a thing or two about this complex sport that he’d grown to love, so much so that oftentimes kelvin flew in the rain. fanatic - most likely. June 28th 2018 his 6th sense told him to pack his bags and go home after the paragliding competition was canceled in Barbeton, Mpumalanga 5 hours outside of Johannesburg, South Africa.

Instead, Kelvin and his His dad chose to play a round of golf and attempt flying the next day. 24 hours later Kelvin flew off a mountain and into power lines that nearly cost him his life. 413 days in the intensive care unit and nine resuscitations later Kelvin is fighting on to regain normalcy. This is HOW WE COPE.

    It’s really inspiring seeing you sitting there and talking about everything. It’s actually amazing, from one day seeing your story and remembering some milestones like “Day 100 in ICU” and a bunch of other updates, to seeing you now talking about it, making jokes and being an inspiration.
