Japan has been on our radar as a Skate & Explore destination for years. When we received an invite to the Red Bull Sidewinders Race we decided to spend an extra few days exploring the city of Tokyo.

I love how respectful the police/security seem here,usually in the US they can be assholes and will go right to yelling at you,but these Japanese officers seem to just tell you to leave respectfully

If they don't react to skateboarding, don't worry. The Japanese have a custom in which it is seen as inappropriate to express too much emotion. They possibly find it interesting, but they're just adhering to their customs.

I'm so jealous of you guys!! I just got back from studying abroad in South Western Japan(Fukuoka). I had a board and everything but not the guts to ride. Especially not in Tokyo. You're absolute madmen and I love it. Made me miss Japan and now I want to go back some day to skate all these spots!

I dream of having hair as good as Stephen's. Filming and editing on these is also always top notch. Big props, these videos could be miles worse without someone who knows what they're doing with the audio-video.

dude that Mario Kart tour thing is.....Ssss.I.C.K!!!! I so wanna do that. I was a huge Mario kart fan growing up. kind of Still is. But I really want to go there and try that out. It's kRAzy though, how you're Able To do that but not skate. But whatever looks sick. Bucket list. Mos Def!
