I'm always amused when so called fish experts claim there aren't other colorful fish in the trade from North America aside from rainbow shiners. Last I checked, the more commin molly is also native to Southern USA and they grow fine outdoors in ponds as long as the water doesnt freeze over during the winter.

Can you ship these and what type of price would I be looking at for 10. I'm building a really nice 3/4 acre pond that is 16-17 feet deep. I have an intake bay and separate bog as well adding a couple thousand more sq ft with a 14 ft waterfall and 50 ft stream. I'm about 85% done at this point. I'm looking for unique species to introduce as forage. I've had my eye on rainbow shiners. I've got Rosy Red Minnows, Fathead, Crappie Minnows, Emerald Shiner, Common or Silver Shiner, Golden Shiner, White Cloud Minnow so far. I also have Bluegill, Sunfish, black Crappie, yellow Perch and Walleye.
