  • To put it simply, this game was created by people who actually cared, loved, and were passionate about what they were creating.
  • @Cusera
The music in the game should have won awards. Beautiful.
  • I like the combat because it's very accurate to how the books described Geralt's fighting style. It is said that when he fights it looks like a dance and normal people couldn't comprehend how fast he was moving.
  • W3 narrative in a nutshell. I need to find and rescue Ciri NOW. But first let me collect all Gwent cards and become world champion.
  • "I am Geralt of Rivia. I'm a badass. Normal people shouldn't be able to one-shot me." Peasant with pitchfork says hello.
  • I've always been someone who gets around to playing games years after release. I am just now playing W3 for the first time and it has blown me away. I lose myself for hours at a time and genuinely find myself emotionally invested in the stories

  • I actually found the side quests were the strongest part of the game. Fully exploring the fate of the Bloody Baron, Finding out if Yennifer was truly in love, rescuing the mages, deciding to assassinate the king, deciding who would hold the throne of Skelligie, these were all huge adventures that weren't forced on you. It really made the game feel like Geralt was part of a larger world. I could have had a game made out of these, the adventures of Geralt, and never had a main quest at all. And these ideas came to their fruition in the DLCs Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine. Both of these ignored the over arching plot to focus on the adventures of Geralt.
  • I found that village you liberate just by exploring. I found a pack of ghouls in a seemingly abandoned village, and thought "eh, why not?" Then I ended up liberating the village, and one of the NPCs told me he'll name his first son "Geralt" in my honor.

personally I absolutely loved the combat being so dependant on gear, I suck at combat in games and I love tinkering, going around the world looking for recipes, materials, figuring out the best setup of skills and gear and then seeing how gigantic of an badass my character became, thanks to that effort it's just a thing of preference I guess
  • The bar and standards have been raised so high following the Witcher 3 that not even CD Projekt RED could meet it again.... cough Cyberpunk* cough
  • My biggest problem with Witcher 3 is that i has an ending.
  • Got the game, and both dlc’s for 15 bucks. By far the greatest deal I’ve ever gotten with gaming in my life. So much polished masterpiece, worth hundreds of hours for 15 fucking dollars.
  • lol "people who compare this to skyrim are making a grave mistake" *spends next 5 mins comparing to skyrim
  • I was playing for the 5th time, and everytime I was running like a dumbass and doing shit fast. Then I saw that in the hut where Keira is, the tub is full of spider webs, because she doesnt use it. She always goes to the bathroom dimention. That made me stop and look the game in a different way. This game is amazing.
  • The story of the Bloody Baron was sad but it was one of my favorites
