Today we’re going to talk about how to stop feeling tired in the morning. If you have brain fog or experience fatigue in the mornings, this one’s for you.

The majority of morning fatigue is caused by a person’s diet. What you ate yesterday is going to affect you today. A high-carb diet starves your brain cells of fuel, which can cause several symptoms.

Top symptoms your diet is causing your morning fatigue:
• Brain fog
• Trouble concentrating
• Irritability
• Hunger in the mornings
• Cravings in the morning
• Headaches
• Nausea
• Bloating
• Stiffness

How to stop waking up tired in the morning:
1. Get on a low-carb diet (Healthy Keto®)
2. Avoid restaurant food
3. Do intermittent fasting (skip breakfast and eat your last meal 5 hours before bed)
4. Protect yourself from blue light and EMF, especially before bed
5. Give your eyes a break from glasses
6. Get plenty of exercise (HIIT, long walks, and physical work)
7. Take vitamin D for jet lag
8. Keep your room cool while sleeping
9. Invest in a good mattress
10. Open your window while sleeping
11. Breathe through your nose while sleeping

Nothing is worse than going to bed early, only to wake up early and fresh but still, feel exhausted. Walking is an equipment - free activity and one of the best exercises for staying hale and hearty ❤. Thanks Dr for your insight and guidance.

After watching several of your videos I now understand why my 83 yr old dad is healthy 6:30-7:00 am Breakfast Scrambled eggs, toast and cottage cheese or oatmeal, banana or Honey Nut Cheerios w/ granola and sliced banana. Those are his 3 breakfast choices Noon -12:30 lunch Small sandwich, dinner leftovers or soup.. pretty light choices Dinner 5:30 Decent dinner He walks everyday for 30-45 minutes Not distance because he walks a bit slower these days. Does yard work for exercise. Plays with cats for joy I pray he lives to be 100 plus 🙏
  • It's amazing to me how cleaning up your diet makes you less hungry

3 boiled eggs, half an avocado, and a cup of black coffee for breakfast always gets the day started right. Energy that lasts for the majority of the day until a large protein packed supper. Also drink almost a gallon of water a day which helps.
  • Watching these videos every morning has really changed my relationship with my own body and food. I was guilty of putting my body through hell with the late-night meals, lack of exercise, and processed foods. However, videos like this, slowly changed my perspective into one that is healthier.

I just want to say thank you. I was a morning person my whole life until 2020 when I got covid(or whatever it is people were catching back then) or I could be wrong something else happened but my sleep had never been the same. I would wake up tired every single say. Working out helped but not much, I felt fatigue throughout the day. I have never been a foodie I don’t really like food I don’t eat that much and I cant eat a lot of things . So a couple of weeks ago I stumbled on this platform and IF caught my attention. I figured since I already have a complicated relationship with food, it wont be difficult for me to try. I also learnt about stevia here and since then have replaced sugar with that. In one week, one godamn week , i no-longer feel tired all day long, i wake early morning and I feel refreshed and thoroughly rested. My skin looks brighter the dark under eyes are going away. Just because I stopped biting this and that throughout the day. Intermittent fasting is the answer to a lot of health and bodily function issues.

People, please pay attention to everything in this video. He just explained several questions I had since I quit sugar and carbs 22 months ago. Unexpectedly he just explained some of the "side effects" that I have enjoyed since I did exactly what he has been saying on everything in this video. This video was amazing to me answering a lot of questions I had about why I feel my morning energy and lack of hunger.
  • @Doodi1978
How amazing that whenever I am worried about something; i find you talking about it and giving the solution. I love you Eric

I'm 33 years old starting to take my health seriously now since there's days I wake up and feel like I'm 70.
  • @sardar5150
Thank you for the reminder. I'm the boss! Been feeling really down lately, my diet has not been the fuel my body has needed. That is changing today. Just been in a weird funk since this foot surgery in December. I hate feeling fogged out, unhealthy.
  • @luxuriousfir
Wow what you're saying is actually very spiritual. Having discipline and control over your flesh. Body , mind and soul.
  • Dr Berg, you saved my sight! I began taking vitamin A a couple days ago after one of your videos recommended it for something I have been struggling with for 20 years! For the first time in 20 years I woke up without my eyelids glued to my eye balls! and I didn't wake up every 4 hours to use eye drops. And after beginning TUDCA this week I had a normal bm for the fist time in most of my life of chronic constipation and having to use natural laxatives once a week. I am hopeful these positive signs will continue to improve, thank you so much ❤
