Their live shows are chaotic in the most fun way possible.

The bassist is F Chopper Koga (FCK). Try the official music video for "I Wish I."
  • F Chopper Koga is a fantastic bassist. GS is very funky with some really taleneted musicians. They play what they want and are super engaging. There is so much musical talent in Japan, it's a shame we are stuck with commercial radio crap in the U.S. I haven't listened to a radio sration in years. One of many things I love about these bands is that they are friends with each other. They attend each other's concerts, they collab and they hang out. All support with no competition.
  • Gacharic Spin is an awsome live band, if you are looking to have fun at a show this is the band to see. You should check out 4 of the members side project Doll$Boxx. They team up with Fuki , the vocalist, from Unlucky Morpheus, another band that I know you both will love.

Great reaction and you've discovered Gacharic Spin, that is best described as loosely contained chaos on stage and all the musicians are some of the best in Japan. Gacharic Spin is one of my favorite bands (along with Band-Maid). The band was formed in 2009 by bassist F Chopper Koga and her friend from high school, Hana (second guitarist in this video - she was the original drummer). At that time, Hana was playing bass in another band and switched to drums (she is a multi-instrumentalist). Together they found guitarist Eita and singer Armmy and as a non-member, Oreo, for keyboards. After a few concerts on their first tour, Eita left the band. Oreo's band Eu Phoria, in which Tomo-Zo was guitarist, had just split up so Tomo-Zo could start at Gacharic Spin. Oreo supported the band with Keyboards at concerts in 2010 and 2011. After Armmy left the band in 2012 due to health issues (she later passed away), Oreo became a member. In 2019 they added the singer Angie (pink hair when she was around 18) and a new drummer Yuri so that the original drummer (Hana) could move upfront as second guitarist.

There is one Japanese supergroup you really should react. It’s East Of Eden and their first single ” Evolve” and do react Extrnded version, ot’s worth it. You won’t disappointed 👍 Thank you for this 🙏🏻

    !!!GOODISM¡¡¡ Greetings from Argentina
  • Thank you for your reaction! Since I can never again hear Mindset for the first time again, I am addicted to first-time reactions! Mindset is the definition of "make you move" music, which we can see from you! Gacharic Spin is always good live, but the original MV has a better soundmix than any live version, so it's also worthwile.

When I discovered Band-Maid in late 2019 (shortly after they were in Dallas, Texas unfortunately) it opened up an entire world of Japanese rock and metal. I have now listened to many, many Japanese bands and out of all of the musicians I have watched and heard, I consider three to be generational talents - Kanami Tono of Band-Maid, Miyako Watanabe of Lovebites and Hana Sano of Gacharic Spin. Hana is the guitarist/vocalist in this video. I call Hana the Dave Grohl of Japan because she is an excellent bassist, drummer and guitarist and has the vocal talent (both clean and harsh) to front a band. She is also one of the composers for Gacharic Spin. My understanding is that the compositions for Gacharic Spin are true team efforts, especially by the core four of the band - Hana, Koga (bass), Tomo-zo (guitar) and Reona (keyboard). I would put MindSet as one of the top 20 songs released in 2021, and not just in Japan.
  • ❤❤❤❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘Gacharic Spin is ALL genres of music and usually all at once they are all completely crazy in the best possible way ;)

HANA, OERO, TOMO-ZO, KOGA with FUKI from UNLUCKY MORPHEUS. next song to watch a live again : song TAMASHII from the LIVE in 2019. Ten years anniversary tour.
  • Senang anda memilih versi live nya, karena versi MV hanya 5 orang tanpa Drummer nya😊 Gacharic Spin Genre is "They did what They are Love" and we love Them 😊❤ Thanks for Good Reaction ❤

Gacharik Spin's The song that established the current members This song is a funky song If you like hard rock songs, Double drum TAMASHII and I recommend 赤裸ライアー.

Great reaction. One thing about GS is expect the unexpected. These extremely talented women are able to put a variety of genres into their song writing blender and somehow they make it work. That solo was right out of the jazz/rock fusion period which was popular back in the 70's. GS is noted for their insane stage energy. For something completely different I would recommend Gacharic Spin - I wish I (Official Live Video) in 豊洲PIT (Lyrics in English)
  • @Will-ug5rs
Nice! I'm glad you went with the live one. They are so flamboyant on stage and attack from all directions. Love the reaction, guys!
  • Yes! Primus is one of the bassist's favorite band. This song was composed by the guitarist, Tomo-zo(brown strat) and the bassist, F-Chopper Koga wrote lyrics. The other guitarist, Hana(blue guitar) arranged it and added jamming part.
