  • " ur women has lost all sense of shame" Wow, one of my muslim colleague in office said this same thing to me!
  • On SG's comment: "On Pakistani side the analysis was done in a very Islamic way", I was like..... Wait, that is same way idea of Pakistan was conceived. That is the very reason Pakistan exists. So isn't it expected.
  • Always fascinating to know about the unknown or lesser known parts of war and related stories. Islamisation of Pakistan army is nearly complete. You need to be a pure Islamist if you want to rise higher in ranks. Many generals as rightly mentioned in video are patrons of Islamist organizations which openly preach radicalism. Christine C Fair's book "Fighting to the End" is really an eye opener and one of the best books to understand the mindset of radicalized Pakistan army
  • To all those claiming that India never got control of pt 5353 I want to clarify that India never controlled that peak it was a no man's land but after kargil war pakistani army captured it so to make things even India captured point 5310 which is 1km inside pakistani territory.
  • People often like to find "context" and "reasons" for events. Sometimes "stupidity" is simply STUPIDITY. Kargil was conceived by Musharraf post-Operation Meghdoot. It was Musharraf's "pet project". The plan was discussed with both Zia and Bhutto but nobody green-lit it. Becoming the army chief allowed Musharraf to "re-launch" the operation despite the strategy being totally outdated. Of course, India made many blunders but ultimately it was an "war of attrition" with odds favoring India.
  • It was not just the Indians who would retreat from heights in winters. Both sides had entered in a written agreement earlier to retreat in winters. Musharraf and his army being children of Zia, decided to violate the agreement in Winter of 1999.
  • @youdekho
Bravo Gupta ji ! You were in full form 👍🏼 I demand a part - 2 of this CTC.
  • Shekharji I had been an avid viewer of ur narratives. I think what makes this channel apart is that here not only events are discussed, but crosslinking between them is so intense that it blows off my mind. Plus, an unbiased view unlike most influencers in social media. A hearty thanks.

But infiltraters are still sitting inside and is 1/2 front of 2½ front. 😁
  • Shekhar ji Chamb across Manawer river is not a tiny enclave. It contains 28 villages which were occupied by Pakistan in 1965 and 1971. The revenue record of the Chamb is still in Akhnoor and Jammu's Revenue Record Rooms. One of the most fertile areas of J&K it now has many a farm houses of Pak army officers visible in Google earth.
  • @orunabho
Gazwa Hind...runs deeps inside a believers mind.
  • This means Tablighi jamaat is a radical organization.......not spiritual or even religious
  • Najam Sethi (the Pak journo) has done a wonderful analysis on Kargil (with many Punjabi zingers). While Pakistan lost the war decisively, one has to also look at the larger fallout: (1)The loser of this war was rewarded with Presidentship in Pak (2)The international humiliation quickly evaporated and Pak was back to being US ally post 9/11 (3)The India-West strategic alignment never really took off despite the mutual "attraction". Even now some level of DISTRUST exists (perhaps, for genuine reasons). (4) India's continued vulnerability in Kashmir.
  • oh what a fascinating cut the clutter. wished you would go on and on. thoroughly enjoyed. story telling at its best.
  • You tell the whole sotry as a neutral person .Love from Pakistan .
  • Do an episode on AP financial crisis.......no one noticing at national level....it should definitely impact country's overall growth
  • @Drkp23
Dear SG Sir, can you please make an episode on Kaleshwaram project by Telangana government which spent almost 1.2 lakh crores which is completely not viable and like a white elephant… please do analysis and give your opinion ….
  • @hr-115
Major Gen GD Bakshi from our side carried out the 1990 operation against them occupying Kargil. He has become quite popular nowadays
  • For the first time I am hearing why Kargil is important and it even has a interesting history
