I uploaded 1 beat per day for 2 months. I didn’t really have much engagement or plays. So I cut back to 3 times per week and used the other time to focus on building my channel. Within 3 weeks I made my first sale and it was a beat that I had uploaded back in that first week. I realized that without a following in place, it really didn’t matter if I uploaded 5 beats per day because there was no one listening. Consistency is great, but if you don’t do the work to lay the foundation, you are basically playing the lottery.

I actually noticed I started making better beats faster when I started to think less about the creating process and create. Instead of thinking what should I create, just take some sounds and vibe with them, move fast and things just start coming together fast and intuitively.

I have to remind myself that making bad beats will come with this profession but figuring out why that beat didn't work has been extremely helpful.

I’ve been posting one beat a day for about a year now. It has helped me learn, grow and get some sales. Quantity vs quality is a weird one because with quantity comes quality.

really intuitive video. thanks man its inspired me. i find so much inspiration but then i fall when it comes to being the creator as i always judge my work so harshly that i leave the beat aside. i went back into my beats from a couple of years ago and was so surprised and impressed with that content i once made, but in those moments i kept wanting to get better i never thought of them as products. its all about finding a middle-ground where you can free flow stress free and consider it a product to be uploaded. good luck to everyone on their journey. hope everyone achieves their goals but its all about enjoying the journey.

Thank you guys. I am filled with value right now:) I am just starting out in the beat business but have been a song writer for years so I am navigating this business through the eyes of professionals like you. Much gratitude.

This video really helped me bro, I've been going through a huge beat block today and this got me the motivation to make something, it's also inspiring me to continue uploading daily not hoping for instant success. I just want to get better with each beat I post.
