"Everyone needs a solo, except for the whistler" 2 minutes later Whistle solo! lol
  • @Goru556
You need to react to another of their new songs, Ego Death. It features Steve Vai which I'm sure you would love.
  • I love the knowledge you've contributed to this song for me. I highly recommend one of their older songs, G.O.A.T, as it features a solo for their bassist.
  • @ElMountainMan
If you do any more blind reactions to these guys, i would def recommend using headphones. There is a lot that can get lost in the abundance of chaos, that is polypha. That being said, great video! keep it up!

Stumbled across your channel and am really enjoying your content. My music knowledge comes down to, that sounds good... I like it. Having someone like you explain what is happening in the song is very informative and gives me a new appreciation for music I already loved. Look forward to seeing more reactions and analysis from you in the future.

Thanks for this analysis, really enjoyable. This band are moving guitar based music into the future, and I'm here for it. You deserve more subs and I'm happy to give you mine.
  • @MMShaggy
This was so cool to watch, loved it.

You have a journey ahead of you. This is the band that just KEEPS ON GIVING. I hear new elements EVERY time I hear the songs again. EVERY song is a different style, feel, and experience. ... Also I haven't heard a single song that doesn't stand up to the 'Song On Repeat for an Hour Test'. You said they should each get a solo ... Go back one album to their song G.O.A.T. (the first song of theirs that started my journey) and enjoy the Rabbit Hole. My favorite song by them so far is called 'Chimera' ... but it's really too close to say definitively. Steve Vai said the ... " ... best thing about Polyphia, is not the music they are writing today ... it's the music that they are going to inspire 10-15 years from now." Very high praise from a living icon that has himself inspired millions. The 'Steve Vai / Polyphia collaboration' BTW ~ is next level again from this 'Playing God' masterpiece. I love how you (without saying the words) said almost the exact same thing as Mr. Vai. You recognized something truly remarkable, I could feel it in your energy. I had the same initial reaction as well.

Polyphia is in a league of their own! Highly recommend watching them play GOAT, Ego Death, Chimera, any song really lol Tim Henson is one of the guitarists, he has his own channel with play throughs and such. I saw them live and it was amazing! Also check out Unprocessed, they tour together and the lead singer/guitarist is crazy talented his name is manuel gardner fernandes. They have a song called Real which features Tim Henson and Polyphia’s bassist Clay. Tim uses a thumping technique and its so awesome. Sorry for so many recommendations but your break down/reaction is great! You earned a sub!
  • @helldude13
Good stuff, the video was solid. Hope you all have success with future videos
  • Really interesting breakdown of the song. I agree with you on two points: more smiles, less whistling. I'd enjoy seeing you do more reaction/breakdown videos like this!
  • finally a reaction vdeo that is legit thank for sharing your thoughts keep it up!
  • @theynvme417
Polyphia - Ego Death all 3 guitarists get a solo, including Steve Vai. Its a master piece, find new things still after the 100th listen.
  • Watch G.O.A.T. By Polyphia, everyone gets a solo. It’s from 2018 I think and Tim (the guy with the neck tats) wasn’t tatted up yet. It’s a great song.
  • @SergeofBIBEK
Their first hit song that came before this did have everyone have a bit of a solo moment. G.O.A.T. is the song.
  • @SwedeSpeeder
You should check out Andy James - Satellites. Much like this, it's an instrumental on guitar. It's something else. ;)
  • @theAV8R
