"If you're worried about words, you shouldn't be flying to begin with". Thank you!

As a woman I have never felt insulted or ignored by a word that has ‘man’ as part of its structure of it In most cases it is a shortened form of human (which was never meant to exclude females). It simplifies language. My ego does not hang on a suffix.
  • As am Airline Transport Pilot, Certified Flight Instructor (MEL and Inst), and former FAA Pilot Examiner, I am sickened by FAA

I am a woman and I do not take offense at the reference of airmen, unmanned or cockpit. This is the ridiculousness that comes with a self obsessed society.

Mr. Vance: "Do you support eliminating the word wife from the FAA vocabulary?" Mr. Nolen: "I'll have to give that one some more thought." Really!? My, my, how far we have fallen.

This stuff is off the wall crazy. Hard to believe as a modern society it's come down to absolute stupidity in our daily lives. So very plain to see that evil is afoot.

Thank you for exactly the sentiment that the majority of us hold. I wouldn't have been able to be so tactful. 😂😂😂😂😂

Unbelievable. So many feelings getting hurt by words. I can’t believe this is happening.

should we make note of employees that were hired because of sexual preference or color instead of ability? Maybe so
  • In an attempt not to "offend" even one person, we instead choose to offend all others.

Best line: " Focus on REAL problems">
  • These people don’t realise they’re a laughing stock around the world.

And there you have it....seemingly normal people, yet they operate on the Pre-School level when it comes to language & logic. Their actions are like passive-aggressive, fallacy-filled ways to punish those whom they don't like...only we are left scratching our heads at the idiocy of them.

Finally someone willing to stand up to this BS!

As an Ohioan wife I thank you, and completely agree! These things are getting too far out of hand!

What about terms the normal majority of the country prefer to be called? Why is the majority supposed to bow to the very small unique minority? What about the majorities feelings?

He’d be easier to take seriously if he wasn’t wearing eye makeup
