Ok, love you, you home style etc..all of the things. However, Arhaus, I wouldn’t call budget, especially not for a sofa. I have a cabinet by them and it was cheaper than the barrel chair that I bought at the same time. Their upholstered items are very pricey in my opinion. CB2 is cheaper and has rounded sofas.

You’re my favorite designer but you’re wrong about the Tom Ford book. I stored mine away 2 years ago and I roll my eyes every time I go to someone’s house and they have it out. It’s so cliche now.

Sculptural Elements show off best when presented Minimally...as an interesting Contrast, in my opinion. MANY Sculptural Elements in one place...begins to look like...well...a ROUND-UP ...& Less NOT More Elevated!

In my opinion, it is difficult to get high end looking sculpural pieces from mass marketers (Arhaus can be an exception because they do source some nice pieces). Local artists,art shows and sometimes vintage stores provide truly one of a kind pieces that can add a high end look. Also, consider mediums other than just ceramics and pottery. Wood, iron, glass etc can add sculptral beauty.

What is it about a round sofa that makes you think luxury? The fact that it takes up a lot of space, and the price of houses is by the square foot. A round sofa uses more square feet.

I love how overly excited you get over the things you love ! I totally get it because I would get super giddy over a delicious piece of cheesecake or my grandma making me my favorite meal. I know you would need client consent. But, I would love to see client transformations. It will definitely help viewership. Although spaces are maximized, reworked, etc. and inspiring it may may come across mundane. At the end of the day I enjoy your style and content. Best wishes!

i agree on the oversized round mirror. i bought a 48" one from Amazon too, and placed it in my entry hallway and it completely transformed the space & makes the whole entry look huge now. i'm not sure this is a new trend though, but it's definitely a good one. for only a couple hundred bucks, it made a world of difference.
