Reason why this theme slapped so hard was because of how it played during cutscene and continued during loading and the battle just like how Ivan boss fight was.

This event’s finale went from like a 4/10 with the generic skeleton boss to a perfect 10 with Super Himiko and Serizawa becoming a Nioh boss lol. This song slaps so hard and comes out of nowhere

Himiko himiko, miko himiko Miko miko himiko miko himiko I see it! A bountiful harvest, and everyone is smiling! Seishin kyuuen kyo! Can I just mention how absolutely adorable this is? Plus, it makes me soft to hear her be so happy about knowing everyone she cares for will have food to eat. Like, nowadays most of us think nothing of it, but Himiko goes through Chaldea getting amazed at how safe everyone is. How happy everyone can be, how they don't have to worry about weather or lacking food or shelter, or just suddenly dying from sickness. Seeing someone whose mind only knows how harsh the old world was makes me remember how many pointy situations have been polished to be safer and we've made places more liveable for ourselves. I don't know, she triggers a lot of happy emotion

THE WHEEL OF FATE IS TURNING

Since we're in the rerun now, feels like a good time to mention another reason why this song is such a fucken BANGER. Plays during the big fight against Kamo. Himiko has just been consumed ENTIRELY in darkness and has access to none of her 5 senses. She stays calm and uses her Mirror to wait for a chance to help. She SUMMONS HERSELF AS A SERVANT and then uses her mirror to fuse with her Servant self and becomes "Super Himiko" (which is why she is buffed to SHIT in that battle)

I just did this fight today. And my god I've never gotten so hype for an event boss fight. I liked all gudagudas but this went above and beyond. Not only did the event gift us with Vergil but with one of the coolest grand battles ever with one of the best tracks. I loved this event through and through.

When this ost play while fighting against Serizawa, I was so fking hyped. What a blast this battle is.

When you bring Himiko to battle as a support but your main dps dies mid-battle Himiko: fine, I'll do this myself and then Himiko just crits the shit on enemies out of existence

I brought Himiko and Super Orion to this fight. It lasted about 5 seconds.

NA is here now FINALLY! Fighting that Serizawa bastard with this playing in the background is the dope! By far the best Guda Guda theme ever!

This song is available in NA's MyRoom now btw; it's titled "Meikyou Shisui -Between Light and Dark-" "Meikyou Shisui" is a Japanese expression for a "clear mind"; "meikyou" translating into a "clear mirror" and "shisui" into "still waters".
