  • At 55 I purchased my first air purifiers 3 weeks ago.. I no longer see dust in the sunlight which I always took for granted as just part of living - though I always hated it. I will have HEPA filter air purifiers the rest of my life. It literally looks like someone cleaned the air. I'm blown away by it.

I think the video is extremely useful with all the feedback from those professors and real tests results! Congrats!

    1. I have a air purifier with a hepa filter and it works. 2. Don't get a water vacuum. They're heavier and can grow mold. 3. Get a hepa bagged vacuum with sealed system and a hepa post motor filter. 4. Open windows and sliding doors even slightly (you don't need to let all your ac out) when vacuuming and cooking and be sure to turn on exhaust fans in kitchens and bathrooms. A little ventilation does a lot of good.

Before buying an air purifier our ac would collect so much dust the filter needed to be cleaned once a month. Now we clean it every 2-3 months. We have a HEPA filtered purifier. This is very helpful in highly polluted areas

Don't buy an air purifier without a HEPA filter no matter what the salesman says.

Air purifier works, before I had an air purifier, there's way more dust whenever I vacuum my room on a weekend.
  • This is one of the best portion of your programming. Extremely useful info and easy to follow. Looking forward to future episodes. Muchas gracias!

Very nice video sir. Could I suggest installing a whole house fan. It pulls air from outside and pushes it out the attic. I have used these for years. Sounds like it might help your circulation issues.
  • @SusanDelRey
My family live in Chiang Mai, the city with the highest AQI recently, so I might buy one for them. Thanks for the information.
  • @KParks
I'd recommend the Alen air purifiers. They're a little expensive upfront but work great, have excellent filters and great customer service. You Also can get a lifetime warranty with them. I have a Breathesmart 45i. One point I'd like to make to anyone looking for a purifier no matter the brand don't undersize the purifier. I can also recommend upgrading your AC units filter to something like a Aprilaire product.

14:21 An hour is not enough time to see much of a difference I would suspect. I was expecting days worth of usage before testing again.
  • @eva.evaaaa
it has helped with my allergies!! definitely a must if you suffer from hayfever
  • If you can afford it, every home should have a central air purifier installed on the main furnace. The portable models should only be used for added purification.

There are quite a few useful tips in this program. The tip to reduce mold growth in air conditioner is useful. The best indicator of mold growth is to look at the blower in the air conditioner. It is good for household members who sneeze or cough occasionally to carry a handkerchief. The best way to prevent the spread the virus is to stop it at the mouth and nose. My kids typically would just put a hankerchief at the table near them when studying or dining. We rarely pass illness to other household members.

Very informative! Evidence based research is always helpful in convincing people to do something, especially if its for their health! Definitely will share this video around with friends and family.

The vacuum bit grossed me out... I'm only vacuuming with the windows/doors open, a mask on and an air purifier running lol
