"This is a damn near f***ing perfect pizza. I'm going to give this a solid, powerful, standing 7.0" - Joshua Weissman

I’m loving the “I tried the best (insert food here) in America” series. Hope the next one is “I tried the best wings in America”

Hey Josh, love your videos. Last year I took my family on scotts pizza tour and our favorite was Linustri as well. Scott is amazing and knows everything about pizza and gave me a tour of many pizza shops around New York City and I also got to sit down and talk with the owner of Luigi's. He is the nicest man ever and I love his family's story, I am so glad you got to meet them both. When Scott took us to Lindustri he ordered us a Burrata pizza and it was the best thing ever. He showed me the inside and knew everyone very well. What amazed me about Lindustri was the air tight room that they use to keep the dough the right temperature while making it. In the end he took us to a Nutella pizza place which i told myself i was too full but ended up eating 3 slices and Scott let me take over for a bit to make the pizzas. Overall a 10/10 experience would try again, and I am glad you got to experience as well. Keep up the amazing work.

As a european, seeing the prices of some of these pizza places combined with the apparent need to tip like 20% at least on top seems absolutely insane

Chicago deep dish is for tourists, the locals eat a bar style with weird rectangular slices.

  • Based on how you explained your ratings, can you give a video of all your 10/10 foods?
  • @Rockoca1
Should have done New Haven instead of Chicago
  • @mickbanner
Americans (inc. Italian Americans) have created a frankenstein versions of what a pizza should be. Nothing beats Naples slice

I absolutely love the honest reviews of the places

Josh is the ULTIMATE snob scorer... There's always something better out there and that out there is his kitchen...

Shout out to Scott! I went on one of his tours and it was absolutely one of the best things I have done in NYC. Perfect combo of history, science, charm, and (of course) great NY pizza!

Unpopular opinion but Dayton style pizza is my favorite, especially from Marion’s. Kind of a niche style of pizza but definitely worth it if you get the chance to try it

This pizza is phenomenal. The crust, the sauce, the chew. It's absolutely perfect. This pizza also gave humanity limitless energy, solved world hunger, and cured cancer and all other diseases. I give it a solid 6.9 ! Joshua Weissmann, probably.

Feel like New Haven was done dirty in this video - no surprise that big cities won with how you selected restaurants based on # of people recommending them. With that methodology, it's actually impressive New Haven was even mentioned given how small it and CT even is. Either way I don't agree with your list, Lucali's is one of the best pizza's i've had and Luigi's is pretty mid compared to NH and other NY pies. Also Lou Malnati's is a huge chain around Chicago, they have something like 50+ restaurants so that score is highly dependent on which one you go to

Always great videos!! Super entertaining and engaging! Keep them coming Chef!
