One of the most important aspects about Minecraft is of course the mining, I mean it takes up half the name. For the most part, you’ll be mining for ores, and as of 1.21 there are 11 different ores the player can find. This includes Iron, Gold, Diamond, Coal, Lapis, Redstone, Emeralds, Quartz, Netherite, Amethyst, and Copper. However, with so many ores, some were bound to be worse than others. So today I’m going to be ranking all minecraft ores from the worst to the best.

COMMENTING BEFORE ANYONE ELSE I FORGOT GOLD AND IRON BLOCKS ALSO HAVE A NOTEBLOCK SOUND! Hope you all enjoy anyway :D
  • 4:53 It’s an actual word, & here’s the exact Google definition: a broken piece of ceramic material, especially one found on an archaeo-logical site.

I'll always have a soft spot for Emeralds, personally! The green hue is just so beautiful...

I agree with most of the Ore-dering on this list. But something else practical about Quartz that wasn't mentioned: it's easy EXP. For cowards like me who don't wanna slay hordes of enemies for Enchanting Levels, Quartz is a lifesaver.

Perhaps another list you could make is ranking every crop. If you can eat it or use it to make something to eat, it counts. You could change the criteria if you want, it's your list. Or not make it at all that's an option too.

Brace yourselves, the fire protection "debate" sequel is coming, I can feel it
  • I got an idea: ranking every redstone machine(pistons, observers, droppers, etc),it would be a really fun idea!

14:24 Lodestones not only look cool but are also the basis of *DECKED OUT*. The massive card-collecting dungeon crawler made entirely in survival Minecraft...

My personal list (from the POV of a builder in bedrock edition) 1. Iron -along with emeralds, this has the most uses ever, from hoppers to observers to anvils, all of which are super useful in all parts of the game 2. Emeralds -so versatile, useful, and can be farmed so easily 3. Redstone - Do i even need to tell you why? 4. Quartz - before you start hating on me, just remember that I'm a builder an this is my favorite way of getting andesite and quartz blocks (one of they only ore blocks designated for building besides copper and one of the only pure smooth white blocks) also observers, which are amazing in tree farms, which i always build when i start a world 5. Gold -This is the way to get andesite using quartz, as previously mentioned. I play on bedrock edition where piglin bartering farms are ridiculously overpowered additionally, i like using this for beacons because emerald farms are not as powerful as they are in java edition. These previous four are the only ores that are always very useful, no matter what stage of the game you're in 6. Netherite -Has one use, netherite armor, but it's really good (don't even mention lodestones if u craft those things u are a menace to society) 7. Diamonds -I love Jukeboxes :) 8. Copper - Though this is technically the same as quartz, i agree with odyssey, quartz is just way better 9. Coal - Good source of fuel, can be farmed easily, good early game. that's all 10. Amethyst -Bad, but i love how wattles used the blocks in his wizard tower. also calibrated skulk sensors are good for traps (i know im so evil) 11. Lapis - Useless late game Useless mid game Near useless early game

Here’s some ideas for videos: Every Minecraft biome ranked Every Minecraft wood type ranked Every Minecraft update ranked Every Minecraft music disc ranked
  • I’m recreating the original World Trade Center Plaza in survival specifically buildings 1 & 2, and I’ve decided to use the two towers to display every single block in Minecraft. I just obtained deepslate emerald ore which if you didn’t know is the rarest ore in the game, I also already have a Netherite Block and for budding amethyst I just placed a sign with budding amethyst on it because it’s unobtainable in survival.

I...have a soft spot of Amethysts since the purple hue is beautiful as I unironically try to build with it in underground bases--NOW WHO'S GONNA STOP MEEEE
