I farmed the model last week and just got it crafted with these 2 enhanced perks, they are absolutely worth it because now I can safely put it in my vault knowing I have the gun perfected and won't ever have to use it

The faster scaling on recombination actually does seem worth it, you get more damage per stack and don't have to kill as much to max out its benefit which can be good when you have limited adds for some areas of the game or several allies who are add clearing everything to the point where its hard for you to get enough kills in their rampage to stack it up

Enhanced recombination actually seems pretty decent, 20% increase to the speed you get double dmg. Reconstruction is pretty negligible though.

They are worth it compared to other enhanced traits, because they basically speed up a kind of slow process, which is what most other enhanced perks do, extend time of the effects

If they buff the drop rates, I'll think about farming. Otherwise I'm doing 1 taniks a week and I'll get them eventually.

Basically confirms for veterans, this is practically not even an upgrade from god roll you got before! we live in multiverse where someone in d2 who logs on 15 a week will get near identical red borders for far less effort than a d2 addict who will stress grinding religiously for 2% red border rates on top of rng needing it to be on heritage.

Very thoughtful & thorough (like all of your content tbh) I can't remember where, but I think Bungie mentioned that enhanced perks are designed to only be about 5% better than their basic counterparts. But we're all filthy degenerates addicted to gold borders, so we're probably gonna max it out anyway lol

I haven’t been able to play DSC for a few weeks since I don’t have my pc at the moment, but my plans is just to do it weekly and slowly get all the patterns. I know it technically takes 30 weeks to do that, but hopefully I’ll get some red borders along the way to make it faster. Plus it’s running 1 raid once per week, it’s really not that bad of a time commitment

I think it's worth it as while in a small amount it would be a tangible increase to dps

A 20% improvement on recombination is big, a lot of times you only have 4-6 ads on the arena if any, so a faster scaling looks like a big deal here. On the other hand a 7% faster recombination speed is negligible, though I guess it could be useful in certain scenarios.

I ended up getting the non crafted god roll for heritage and decided to just get the rest of the red borders from my other characters on reset

The enhanced reconstruction I do have a question regarding if it syngergizes with another autoloading weapon. Enhanced auto loading compared to auto loading is a similar negligible difference but it makes all the difference when you are doing the izi-rocket combo as without it you have to have a small pause before swapping to the rocket or it wont be loaded yet, with enhanced you never have this problem you can just instantly swap.
