Shin Godzilla is out for Revenge! And Legendary Godzilla will be ready. Today we will discuss a hypothetical scenario where Legendary Godzilla did NOT completely finish off Shin, thus allowing him to regenerate into a stronger 5th form, duplicates, or a potential 6th form if it survives.

Imagine how massive the wings would need to be to lift all that mass. Shin is too powerful

I like how the more you evolved Shin to counter Legendary, the more he looked like Destroyah. Which was one of the few kaiju that could beat OG Godzilla.

Legendary Godzilla: Stand proud Shin. You are strong. Shin Godzilla: Nah i'd adapt.
  • The fact that shin can actually have No absoloute limits in evolving, and countering everything just like in the movie makes him an actual GODzilla

Concept art for Shin Gojira showed that a possible 6th form would have a fully functional nuclear reactor inside its body, so energy depletion would be nonexistent. Either way, never underestimate the value of adaptability. The scariest monsters in all fiction and fantasy are the ones that can't be killed the same way twice.

I'm still waiting for the day they'll make a face-off breakdown analysis between all Godzilla incarnation to see who's the real King of the Monsters.
  • The issue with Shin's regeneration and adaptation is that if Shin existed in the monster verse it would likely encounter other kaiju in between battles with legendary. Thus could either cause Shin to develop in unforseen ways possibly undoing its adaptation's to conquer legendary. And if legendary was able to kill Shin during an energy depletion cycle then wouldn't that hinder both it's regeneration and adaptation, giving Legendary enough time to retreat and heal its wounds? I know I'm late with the input but I really enjoy this type of speculation and you do it really well

Fun fact, shins energy doesn’t deplete as it fuels itself with an unknown nuclear isotope. The problem with 4th form shin Godzilla is that it hasn’t fully adapted to what is basically a nuclear reactor inside its body and can’t handle the heat that is produced but the reactor inside its body. So assuming that it has already started adapting to that problem I believe that 5th form shin would either have no heat problem or would have an effective way to cool off much faster than its previous form.
  • I feel like Shin isn’t something you can compare, because we literally just don’t entirely know its capabilities. Like Shin could turn into anything, and no one can say for sure what it could be.

The concept art of Shins form where he's just assimilating everything around him into his body is absolutely horrifying. He goes full lovecraft

6:56 kinda scared me ngl. almost made me fall. but i like how you evaluated!

They're is a deleted scene where the dead Shins flesh grows eyes and becomes a small ecosystem growing on multiple buildings, that would in the end, most likely take over the world.
  • @ArtoriasB
Shins constant adapting and mutating is truly what makes him so terrifying compared to previous Godzillas
  • Remember, its not just the main body Legendary has to burn. He also has to burn every scrap of flesh, every splash of blood, every piece of DNA (as seen in the concept art)

I’d love a third part to this series featuring Legendary Godzilla’s evolved form from GxK.
  • Shin be like : "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger"
  • @benthrash
I think it's a major miss not to discuss Hideaki Anno's original plan for Shin Godzilla. The phase after what we saw in the movie literally flies, the phase after that develops space travel abilities, and it basically evolves into an universe-consuming god by its final form.

Legendary Godzilla feels titans around the world, he’d soon after the fight be able to feel Shin Godzilla still alive and regenerating, he’d then go back and make sure that Shin is completely disposed of.
