This video explores the mythical toy soldier collection known as Bermudiana created by toy soldier maker Harold Pestana. This collection was based on a book titled "Bermudiana: a short military history of a mythical 19th Century Land."

Harold Pestana was one of Malcolm Forbes' favourite toy soldier makers. During his life the billionaire had the world's largest toy soldier collection housed at his mansion in Tangier, Morroco.

Stuart Hessney, Editor, Toy Soldier Collector & Historical Figures magazine, spoke in Toronto on April 14, 2024, at a monthly meeting of the Ontario Model Soldier Society (OMSS), omss.ca.

The topic of this one-hour presentation was Harold Pestana's mythical Bermudiana book and toy soldier collection.

This one-hour presentation has been made into a four-part series on this YouTube channel.

The Ontario Model Soldier Society (OMSS) meets monthly--one Sunday per month--between September and May. The dates for these meetings can be found on omss.ca.

OMSS also hosts Canada's largest toy soldier show, On Parade. On Parade 2024 will be held on June 15th, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Franklin Horner Community Centre, 432 Horner Avenue, in Etobicoke.
