I wanted to share a story about a heart surgery that I had as a child. I wanted to share this story for anyone who may have struggled or is still struggling with something similar. And I also wanted to share this story for any parents or care takers that have a child who needs surgery. This is only one story, and it is unique, but I hope that by sharing my honest story of what it is like that others can get a better understanding. I also want anyone to know that they are not alone.
