MY VERY FIRST VIDEO!!! The start of it all!

A quick video to help a friend understand the process of opening Hot Wheel cars and to prepare for tapping the body. I list the drill bit sizes you will need to first drill a pilot hole, then break the rivet head off, and lastly the final pilot bit to run a tap down to screw the car back together. I was not intending to post this video to YouTube, so it is uncut and not edited. Never the less, our YouTube journey begins! Thank you for watching!

I wish hotwheels would go back to making all metal bases
  • First off, never place the car upside down on metal shavings, you are asking for a scratch. Secondly, tape your 5/64th drill bit about an 1/8th to 3/16 of an inch down so you do not drill too far into the post. Stop at the tape edge, otherwise you can go right through the hood or trunk of the car.
