3d modeling things from memory is not the easiest, and I have a lot of room for improvement. I made the FNaF 2 withered animatronics from memory, but now it's time to remake them with references! I think it turned out great, and I had a lot of fun!

  • To all the people who question how Scott makes quality models, to make it sound more bizarre he created Foxy’s design and model in a single car ride.

This just goes to show how incredibly important it is to have reference when making art

Huge improvement, but your from-memory models will always have a special place in our hearts.
  • I think these models could definitely be used in a fan game! And I do also think the old Freddy & Foxy models look pretty fine too. To quote from the previous video; they're the original FNaF 1 models made from memory, but better.
  • People don’t realise how hard it is to 3D model, props to you! Whenever I try, it feels like I’m playing with glue that falls apart at the smallest mistake

Your original images give a very nostalgic charm, they remind me of Five Nights at Candy's and the early days of FNAF fangames, your model making skills are incredible, with or without a reference!
  • @Eldrich09
This really does make you appreciate just how good Scott’s character models are, it’s something we tend to take for granted due to the memes.

I still think the originals look pretty cool, especially the renders, but you definitely have gotten much better with the details, also I love how you keep doing stuff with Golden Freddy's ragdoll.

I think the older versions have their own sort of charm to them, but I think this video is a pretty good example of how important references are when artists are going for accuracy - love your vids 💖✨💖
  • As a fellow 3d modeller, I respect the amount of detail you put into this. Knowing definitely makes it more believable, but I could never put in that much effort. Props!

6:19 why does this look like a magazine cover, AND WHY DO I FEEL LIKE I’D TOTALLY READ IT IF I COULD 😂

The old ones look so smooth and much less colorful. It brings them an uncanny feeling. It's like between the line of organic, living creatures and robots. It gives them an original touch that is hard to describe.
  • @LotusEatter
These models are very impressive in my opinion and deserve more praise. They aren’t exact replicas of the originals but are still very good in their own way.
  • I love the original from memory ones, but watching him learn and grow with modeling is really cool to see! Also, as someone who knows nothing about Blender, I can’t help but feel hilariously lost hearing him say ”I merged the layers?” with such shock and anger.

3:13 The drooping eyepatch made it look stellar, as the model Scott created kind of made the eyepatch look metal. Splendid job!
  • @rumGuru
These models had such a glow up, the respect you deserve is crazy

this really shows just how important references are
