How to Trim & Cut Your Videos with the Video Editor in YouTube Studio

The video editor in YouTube Studio desktop lets you trim & cut the beginning, middle, or end of your videos. You don't have to re-upload a video to trim it, and the video's URL, view count, and comments will stay the same. To use the video editor, go to YouTube Studio then Content. Choose the video you’d like to make changes to, then go to “Editor”.

Wow...If any creator can also add fresh clip to any specific uploaded video... Then that feature can prove out to b more worthy... That's what I'm looking out for...coz Yesterday I uploaded final part of one of my video series in a hurry due to unavoidable circumstances...& forgot to introduce cast & credit section in the ending clip...& That's y badly needed this feature....& Just can see this update... Anyways... personally I'm overwhelmed to see this & hoping to have more flexibility of features in future... Kudos to Team Youtube...🌷🌷

That "revert back to original video" setting is a nice safety net for peeps like me who often second guess my editing choices. Would you guys mind putting out a video on how to add different free music choices to YouTube videos (YT audio library and any others)? That is a hot topic amongst newbies. I loved your remix short which helped immensely with using remix to hop on free music trends!

Yeah, but I could not cut the part (with music claim; to restore monetization) on my few hours long live stream. The system told me the video is too long . So what exactly is the limit?

Im on a MacBook Air from 2015, and a lot of what you're showing here is not in my YouTube Studio. Ive looked in the App Store for YouTube Studio and don't see it there either! HELP!
