EDIT: 𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗢 𝗚𝗢𝗧 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗗. Had to trim out some parts of the review to resolve the issue, so the video is a little choppy, especially at 24:58. (I said "talentless embarrassment" btw) sorry! But I hope you still enjoy! Welp. This is a hill I'm dying on I guess. Hello fellow stranger! Thanks for stopping by! This is by far my longest video, so I hope that's fine lol. But I hope you still enjoyed tho! Any other movies/shows you want me to talk about? 👀 Hope you enjoyed your stay! Have a great day and a great life! Follow me on Twitte

I knew I wasn’t the only one who actually think that Sing isn’t bad. 😔
  • Fun fact - the lion from Sing 2 was originally designed by a furry. The original art was total lion bara daddy archetype. The studio actually "toned it down" dramatically. They were afraid of him turning into what Mr. Wolf has turned into.
  • I don't know why but i find it hilarious that beaniie's character is confirmed to be the same height as a Minion 😂
  • "If I had a nickel for every time someone overreacted and thought I was firing them, I'd have two nickles. It isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice." -Buster Moon

The best part of Sing 2 was that tiger who was meant to be Johnny's dance partner and brings out a broom to support him even off stage, hyping the beat along everyone else.

"Johnny won clearly, hands down" had me dead, but yes he won !!

The wolf guy was shown as never actually caring about Portia, he never even looks at her while she is speaking to him and is clearly excited. Then, when Portia "gets fired" (despite literally threatening the director's life if that happened) she dissapointed him. He literally rigged the game for her and somehow she still fucked up. Not to mention she is how old? 20? And yet doesn't have a job or anything else going for her. And yet whenever they speak with each other she acts and is treated like a bratty child. The wolf obviously cares about appearences and having the public good graces, so having a daughter on a important show was a good enough thing he could support until she defied him and suddenly it's not about what he wants but what she wants for her life. It's pretty clear to me that Portia has been infantilized all her life and the wolf guy didn't really too much of a fuck about her unless it affected him. So her Arc is literally about becoming an independent person at last.

You might be a little bit too critical about the movies you review but that is exactly why I like your videos. You say what you think not lie about liking the movie for people to like you.
  • @meloettafg
I might be biased bc I actually liked Sing 2, but my interpretation to the weird dynamic w porscha and her dad was that, "everything is good as long as daddy is pleased" like she would go and be good a daughter, pleasing her dad(like giving a good reputation to their name and stuff) and in return he would be nice to her but at minimum imperfection he would lash out to her . Long story short, he emotionally abused her. Like, prob porscha learned early on(in a bad way) that her father isn't all that good but just rolled w the punches and play her part, like even her overreacting when moon changed her role could be bc of that. Idk, maybe it's not that deep but that's what I understood.

Honestly me too I literally almost cried when clay calloway's wife showed up and he conquered his fear and then everybody was singing along and I was like shit I'm not going to cry it's a kid's movie 😂😂
  • I actually like the fact that they don’t learn from their mistakes because they never get any consequences for their actions. Like why wouldn’t moon lie again? It worked last time right? He got the attention and theater he wanted with no trespassing charges so from his perspective it’s a profitable gamble and guess what? It worked out the second time to.

Feels good to see someone on the Internet saying this movie is good for once.

26:21 - 26:38 I do find it kind of hilarious just how shady Buster Moon and his performers can be in these movies. They broke so many laws to get their big show off the ground in "Sing 2", and when Jimmy Crystal sent his goons after them to whack them, they had zero problems teaming up with Johnny's gangster family (who just got out of jail a while ago) if that's what they had to do to survive. It's not often that you see the protagonists of a family film be this sketchy, and personally, I kind of like it.
  • @noviceworks1503
My only real beefs with the first movie were that 1: A $10 entrance fee from everyone who auditioned would have helped the theater's immediate money problems with repairs and unpaid staff, and 2: A 'Actually the prize is only $1,000' turning away 90% of the people in the huge line we saw would have still FILLED the entire list, and 3: The POINT of musical talent reality shows is that the audience gets to judge along with the actual judges, and a $5 charge for an audience would have taken care of like...everything. So I see the sequel has the same issues with 'Actually THIS is how you make this situation profitable' that the first one did. XD

tiny note Miss Crawly is actually a iguana, not a chameleon i point this out because reptiles are my favorite kind of animal
  • Sing 1 is accually a huge reason why i started singing. I heard frank sinatra's "my way" and liked it so much I learned it,and that's how I got my start singing and now, few years later, I still sing, am concidering it as a career far into the future and have been in 2 Musical productions, one of them as a lead role. I didn't even like the movie that much back then, it was my mom that insisted on 5 rewatches , but idk, I vuess that Story kinda bound me to the movie...
  • @SICProwl
Sing 2's backgrounds tho. Crystal towers itself was definitely someone's favorite thing to make
  • @redbear6778
"Sing: The Encore" bruh he has a point lmfao 😭
