The same would be true for a handheld. It's not like that market has grown. The Steam Deck only sold 3 million in the same amount of years

Rand keeps arguing about the handheld and he has good points but aside from points others made you just have to think about Japan. A handheld would certainly look more appealing in that region and the console sales are so low that anything could have a significant impact. Of course, only a handheld is not enough but they have made changes and now they have people with contacts and experience in the region to make a change over time, even if they never jump up from third place over there.

Xbox is at least partially powered by Windows 11, considering the reported kernel-version

Rebooting Halo’s story would lose so much of the loyal fans that have stayed since CE including myself. The story is not the problem. Just make a Halo CE remake to hype up the new crowd and after that continue with the current story for Halo 7 aka Halo The Endless. Launching Halo content complete (forge, co-op, enough maps, and modes) with a great story is all they need. People didn’t stop playing infinite because of the story or gameplay, they stopped playing because of no content. Also the Halo universe is so big that they don’t need to reboot it just to make a new story focused on new characters. Look at The Mandolorian for Star Wars as an example. They can make a third person action game set in the Halo universe maybe during Halo CE with new characters without needing to anger the loyal fans by rebooting the lore.

Definitely would love single player battle field. Especially if Ubisoft destroys ghost recon going 1st person.
