As someone who grew up with brawl, I absolutely love coming back to this. It’s a mix of nostalgia from knowing nearly every scene beat for beat, awe of how absolutely bad ass this entire sequence is, and joy for being able to come back to this and appreciate it in ways I didn’t as a kid. Over the past couple days I looked up this, the lyrics of the song translated to English (bc they’re originally Latin if ya didn’t know), and a compilation of the cutscenes of the Subspace Emissary. it’s been an amazing experience coming back to these again. Brawl will always have a special place in my heart, I don’t care if people thinks it’s a bad game, or worse than the other smash bros

Change my mind: Brawl was severally underrated and unappreciated. This game hits different especially with this theme and remembering that campaign.

1:07 whenever I listen to this song the chills build up and release all in from this point on until the end. It’s an eargasm that only those beautiful harmonies can complete. Vocals in this song are everything.
