It’s always nice learning from a person who loves what they do. That’s why I’m here
  • Such a joy watching this! Thanks for the review and weighing the tradeoffs and advantages of different units.
  • It's nice to see how you do the test and inspection of the equipment. It's like you follow the same steps as much of us to do that, so, is pretty sastifiying. Keep that spirit!!!!
  • @mosfet500
Thanks Eddie. I'd like to see noise characteristics under full load.

Thank you & congratulations for new episode variable power supply series 👏 💝
  • @Gengh13
Nice attention to detail in the design but I prefer to have power also shown in the display.

Regarding output terminals, I always prefer ground to be in the middle so you can ground either positive or negative side with a copper strip. Once you've done that, a dual banana plug can be used between the ground and the free side. Of course, you can get the best of both layouts by having the three terminals at the corners of an equilateral triangle, but that seems to be quite rare.

Thanks for the videos on psus and doing the review on this model. I've been browsing videos up to a few years back looking for a solid recommendation. Would you still recommend a similar model around 100 like this after all these years testing low to high end machines or this machine compared to some of the new stuff on the market? I've been stumped on which to buy for under $1k. What are your thoughts for choosing between rigols build quality compared to siglent, vs tectronix/keithley for functionality and practical use or be precision? I'm a electrical and computer engineer student planning to set up my own test bench for projects and wanting to invest in something that would last for years through college and even for professional work. Plan on from working with circuitboards and chips of all types, pc components to drones, and ebikes. Was wanting something that fit the build of a programmable, multi output, high accurate clean psu. Been working with a lot of tectronix/keithley on campus but its a little steep for 800$ for a psu. Could you do a top 10 or something from your experience with the different companies products you've handled? Any advice with be very appreciated.

Thank you Eddy . I have a dc electronic load from this brand as well as a rigol electronic load and guess what. I have found this Brand to be more accurate than Rigol. Today I fried my power supply and am going to buy this one. This seen to be very good quality. Thank you for the review
  • Was looking at possibly buying an Itech electronic load, wonder if they might send you one of theirs to review, they look like a company that build decent gear.
  • @Chupacabras222
Power supply for $320 + $100 shipping is considered to be a low cost?
  • @Kris_M
Air intake and outlet on the bottom front and rear of the unit, hot air will build up on top.
  • @jstro-hobbytech
Eddie is always here to tell if it's top notch. Or does it ripple like butterscotch? Joking aside. It's a nice psu.
