In the spring of 1980, the port at Mariel Harbor was opened, and thousands set sail for the United States. They came in search of the American Dream. One of them found it on the sun-washed avenues of Miami... wealth, power and passion beyond his wildest dreams. He was Tony Montana. The world will remember him by another name... Scarface.

What I love is that Tony doesn't shoot him from behind. He takes the time to make sure he sees him before gunning him down.
  • @TiberiusEmpire
You can tell that he accepted his fate, but even with the chainsaw on his face, Tony never beg.

I love how even though this is Tony’s first major play in the drug trade, he handles it like a total professional and is able to sniff out the danger from the first second

1:55 I absolutely love this shot. There's so much going on at the same time, every actor is playing their part beautifully. It's just perfect.

Fun fact: when the Colombian is holding the Chainsaw to Tony's face asking where the money is, he calls him "Scarface" in Spanish. It is the ONLY time in the entire movie that Tony is referenced by the Title of the film.

“Chi Chi, get the yayo.” Tony never forgot the mission 👍

“Ok you want me to come in we start over again mane” Pacinos dry sarcasm in this film always kills me.

Now I know what GTA Vice City was modeled after lol! SAY GOODNIGHT MR DIAZ!
  • I love how Manny came thru blazing without even having to think. That's how a ride or die homie is supposed to act
  • Imagine what it must've been like seeing this in theatres for the first time. Seriously one of Pacino's best films.

This scene scarred me for life as a teenager. Absolutely terrifying way to go and way too real.
  • Manny just casually said he didn't remember what he was supposed to be doing that day. Truly a man that thinks with the wrong head. And I like how Tony's inner child came out as he avenged his friend in the head and said, "YOUR TURN!"

This scene is the best motivator to NOT get involved with gangs, or drugs.
  • I love how Pacino incorporated some fear into Tony as he gets pushed against the wall, his frozen stumbling shows he's scared but fighting the urge to cave and staying tough
  • @Jimmyfly215
Pacino had the most psycho look in his face in this movie. The acting you can’t really match. Just delivered.

Middle of the street, middle of the day, in the middle of a crap ton of people everywhere, and manny just hops out the car walking in the middle of the street with a Mac 10 just out in the open. Can’t get anymore subtle than that

I'm not sure how critics didn't like this movie when it came out...it's a fucking masterpiece
  • @YanAbaus
What's so cool is seeing all the references made to this piece of art in GTA Vice City. From the locations down to the wardrobe.

Always felt bad for Angel. He didnt deserve to get chopped up like that. Wish they gave him more screentime
