  • I miss the old days where we just rode our bikes and just were kids. No Internet
  • @briangus182
No cellphones, no social media, play outside until the street lights turn on. Kids were allowed to be kids! I miss those days!

I'm so glad I was born in the 80s. Growing up without internet and phones was a true blessing.
  • @trushbetold
Glad I'm old enough to remember a world without the internet.

I was 8 years old in 1980. Curfew was when the street lights came on. We only came home before that to eat lunch. Our parents hollered out the door if they needed us while we were out running around. We found out if our friends liked butter by putting a yellow flower under their chins. Whoever lived in the neighborhood is who you became friends with. We knew where all of our friends were at because all of their bikes were laying in the front yard of the house. WE were the tv remote. Friday Night Videos and sleeping bags on the floor were a staple with sleepovers. We popped popcorn on the stove, no microwave. We sat in our parents lap and steered the car while they drove. We jumped homemade wooded ramps with our bikes; didn't wear helmets and knee pads but we are still alive. We skinned our knees and put dirt on it to make it stop bleeding. We are the last generation who ACTUALLY lived life.

Born in the spring of 84. The kids these days will never understand the joy of being outside in the sunshine & dirt. No internet. No phones. No social media. Just you & your friends using your imaginations to create memories that last a lifetime. Much love Acal.
  • 1984 girl here! We really had it good. We used our imaginations playing outside, tv was censored before 10, no swear words or nudity. Kids today aren't given the opportunity to learn critical thinking, it's sad, they learn more about their feelings then they do real true facts. Great song, feels like the 90s and I love it

'79 girl here.... This pretty much sums it up.... It's sad how little kids get outside these days and how anxious they are. ❤

I’m a 60 year old fan of yours and boy do I miss the way it used to be! As soon as the government took prayer and the Bible out of public schools, our country was doomed!
  • @XooiFayze

Born in 71. It really saddens me that our children and their children will never know the America I grew up in. It's our fault. We became complacent and far too civilized. We deserve what We tolerate. JJ -South Alabama
  • Miss those days. 64 now. Friends, mom only had to whistle once to come home. Doors unlock, neighbors became family. Great song Adam love your music...
  • @Nuthin2Gein
Born 1971. The 80s kicked ass. Rode my bike everywhere and loved it. No internet.TV Shows gave you something to think about and your parents beat your ass when you screwed up. I'm thankful for every bit of that.
  • @jippah
“I thought we were bad smoking pot in bathrooms. Now kids go to school and getting shot in classrooms.” Sad but true. Mental illness plagues this country… Great song, Adam 🔥

This shit should have 50 Million views. God damn...No gimmicks, no goofy ass hat, and no ego. Just the truth and a microphone. Real recognize real, but real also recognize fake. There ain't nothing fake about this dude.
  • @sixteezchild
Yes sir!!! I was born in 62 and we had a great childhood! Thank you for always telling the hard truth! Keep on pumping em out...we need to hear these things!
  • @LoneWolf-479
Crazy timing. I was just preaching to my 2 daughters about how i grew up drinking from the garden hose, riding my bike 2 miles to get eggs from a neighbor, & flipping cassettes over while riding the bus for 3hrs a day
  • 🔥 🔥🔥🔥. Riding bikes all day long till the street lights came on .
  • Hell yeah Adam! Kids these days don’t know how good we had it when we were kids! I’m a 1973 baby so I know! I miss the world how it used to be too! 😢
  • Born in 77.. had to be home before the street lights came on... riding bikes no hands was a skill, especially if you could turn...back when we knocked on doors to see if our friends were home ... playing wallball and jailbreak... passing notes in class, junior high dances, and your best friend asking your crush to couples skate with you at the roller rink.... good ol days. ❤
