Mordor decides to attack dale to expand their domains and put pressure in Gondor in more points. Mordor also needs to procure timber and forests of the dale are a valuable resource to control.
Meanwhile Dale prepares, offensive orc: Terraced field, many elite units such as swordmasters, the earls, and the halberdiers. It also has many long bows which can be lethal on battle.
Despite the outnumbered troops dale decide to go down in the open field, and defeat the enemy.
We are in winter and snowing. The men of the dale are accustomed to the snow, so they try to exploit the situation in their favor met the orcs in the open field. The orcs of Mordor are not used to cold climates (due to the fate of the mountain), will have less resistance during the battle.

Il mio primo machinima in third age realizzato con l'editor movie di medieval 2.
Mordor decide di attaccare dale per ampliare i propri domini e mettere pressione a Gondor in piu punti. Inoltre Mordor ha necessità di rifornirsi di legname e le foreste del dale sono una preziosa risorsa da controllare.
Nel frattempo Dale si prepara, all'offensiva degli orchi: Schiera in campo, molte unità d'elite quali gli swordmasters, gli earls, e gli alabardieri. Inoltre possiede molti archi lunghi che possono essere letali in battaglia.
Nonostante l'inferiorità numerica le truppe del dale decidono di scendere in campo aperto, e di sconfiggere il nemico.
Siamo in inverno e nevica. Gli uomini del dale sono abituati alla neve, perciò cercano di sfruttare a proprio favore la situazione incontrato gli orchi in campo aperto. Gli orchi di mordor non sono abituati a climi rigidi (per via del monte fato), per cui avranno meno resistenza durante la battaglia.

Dale is definitely my favourite in terms of style. Even if playing Eriador/Arnor in the campaign is glorious. The mix of militia troops, reinstated rohvanion regiments, newly formed ones and figuring out how to build the armies as you reclaim more land and rebuild infrastructure. It is awesome. Love the Dale cavalry, the athala rangers, the gadraughts, the horseguards etc. So much inspiration.

I like how you can see the bowstrings moving when they draw their arrows unlike in M2TW where the bows are just static. Would have thought they had enough funding for that much :/

the chanting and taunting is sick, i just hate how its scripted so they all play the same gestures and comments at once and drown each other out. an otherwise subtle feature that is incredibly satisfying :) something the other titles tend to lack...
