In this video, I will show you how to use iridescent acrylic paint and the straws technique to create glittering results!

You need:
🔴 ARTEZA – Iridescent Acrylic Paint, 60ml Bottles - Set of 10 × 1:
- USA: arteza.com/products/iridescent-acrylic-paint-60ml-…

- UK/EU: arteza.co.uk/dp/iridescent-acrylic-paint-60ml-bott…

- And my color-mixing-ratio for ARTEZA colors is:
- 1/5 paint + 2/5 Floetrol (I use bit.ly/Floetrol) + 2/5 water
- Here is a mixing example for a 4cl cup: 5ml color + 10 ml Floetrol + 10 ml water

🔴 Canvas: BOESNER - Gesso painting board 20x20cm (bit.ly/BOESNERGessoPaintingBoard )

🔴 Tape (I used this one: bit.ly/Tape_red)

🔴 Lasy Susan pink (I used this one: bit.ly/LasySusanPink)

🔴 Epoxy Resin - Artresin (I used this one: bit.ly/EpoxyResinARTRESIN)

🔴 Torch/ Butane gas burner (I used this one: bit.ly/ButaneGasBurner)

I like that you don't speak-videos where the artist is blah, blah is not entertaining! I enjoy and appreciate the creativity of watching the pours-thank you!
  • @RoDraws
took me a second to realise you stamped your hands with your logo to prevent video theft, quite clever
  • Mark, hello and thank you for posting this video. I've got some curved heavy glass that I've been racking my brain as to what to do with them. I know exactly what I want to do with them and I hope to paint soon. I'm taking care of my partner as her health has deteriorated from respiratory disease. I don't get time to paint as I used to, but you have inspired me. I'm sure you've heard this before but I just have to tell you that the sound of your voice is hypnotic and soothing to my soul. Thank you dear
  • Wow I can’t believe how beautiful this is I’m going to try this with my daughters. I hope they can love art and experimenting!!
  • Thought I'd see every possible tool to do a pour but you topped many of them with this little trick. What a wonderful imagination. Thank you for sharing.
  • I think I'm going to get into this. It looks really fun and and as someone who can't paint, this would be easy to do especially when it comes to my MD. No holding a brush. Love it.
  • TIP: Warm the canvas up before pouring resin. Either by using a hot air blowdryer or sitting the canvas in the sun. Not hot, but nice and warm. Air bubbles come up faster and resin spreads nicer. I always warm my blank canvas up to remove any moisture before pouring. I live in Hawaii where it's humid, the packaged canvases need to breathe so I remove the plastic after I get them home to dry and then hit them with the blowdryer before pouring. I just kind of like it. Back in the 70's & 80's we use to make burl wood furniture, slabs of Cyprus, Walnut, Buckeye, Olive wood, etc. When the tables were ready for the finish, I used TRU-OIL, a gun stock varnish type oil. I laid it down with the edge of the palm of my hand. But before the oil, we'd take the piece from the garage to the sun for a warm-up, then back into the clean dust free garage for the oiling.
  • Only you would think of straws in this way. Amazing. Soooo beautiful
  • LOL! Did you hear me yelling at you, "Just SHOW ME!!". Once again, 🤯! I so love watching you work. Your pieces are like nothing else on YouTube... Nothing! You are very inspiring, thank you for sharing your gift with us. With love from the Southern California desert, MK ♥️🌞🌵
  • Love the way you explained everything!! This is my first time seeing this done with straws, I came out beautifully!!! I also really LOCED the music, very relaxing Thank you!!
  • This video just so soothing. From the real ness, like the picture seems more live, the music and the transitions. This is beautiful
  • @Pixel0148
That turned out so beautiful! The colors looked amazing once resin was put on.
  • I love that you showed how you finished your art. I have found that some artists do not include the process for us wanting to learn.
  • Easily, the best acrylic pour I've seen yet! Very cool!
  • This piece is so pretty. I love the colors you used.
  • I've just watched to the point where you poured out the paint , and already love it. It's so stunning !! Way to go.
