    On the difference between the arts: literature is the only artform you Can bring with you all over even without Any bags or pockets - namely as poetry in the mind, a poem you remember. Back in the Old days here in Denmark, we mainly had the spoken Word except for carved runes and the skjald would both write and recite the poems out of memory. I think, on this level, there is a great value to the spoken word, it is more alive even than the written one - in this context though.
