This is a graduation Production made by three students graduated from the National Taiwan University of Arts.

The main character of little girl in the story confronts a robbery and strays from the road she is familiar with. After passing a hedge, she enters an unknown world and unfolds a magical adventure depending on senses other than vision and her imagination. With soft and cute colors as the main key, we used simple designs to depict the little girls' imaginary world.

I always love it when I find myself in that part of YouTube full of student short films. It's nice.

0:57 for those who don't know, blind people will clap their hands and listen for the echo to get a sense of how big a space they are in, if it's wide open or a tightly enclosed space.

Love how the fluffy ball only turned into a cat after she heard the meow. Such a clever and adorable short 🤍

A perfect example of show don't tell, they never come right out and say the girl is blind but you can just tell. And the way she discovers everything is just brilliant, truly moved

I often wonder where these students are now.

This animation is so cute. One of my favorites now. When she first hit the fence, I wondered why she didn't just immediately notice the hole and climb through it. Children normally do in things like this. Then she ducked down and carefully felt along it, staring blankly the entire time, and it clicked. It became instantly obvious to me she was a blind child who'd just lost her seeing-eye dog. It was so much fun to see her discover the world as she went along, with her "magic wand". Gogo is such a good dog. As long as she has him, she'll be okay.
  • 12 years ago? This is still some of the very well made animations

Woah! I loved how the shapes were only revealed as she understood them! The cat was brilliant. (:

that was so cute. a little blind girl can hear, feel, and smell all these things and she made her own world and how she viewed it.

Not going to lie, I legit teared up at the end. My dog died recently and I grew up with him. Seeing that kid still having a sense of wonder and innocence while being blind... then that ending... man

This feels like a real nice mix of Ghibli and Charles M Schulz's Peanuts. Also the lack of using any language except for a simple and relatively universal name for a dog like "Koko/Coco" makes this very accessible for anyone. Brilliant piece of work

I know this might be weird, but this would be a curiously interesting video game if they ever made one: controlling a blind character and the world starts off black, dark and dreary, but using a variety of different senses, you slowly build a world full of colour and life. I'd play that :)

The moment you rewatch the video and realize at the very beginning the hint was right there all along as she was walking on one of those altered sidewalk textures for the blind to navigate the streets.

    This short is criminally underrated

I love how instead of being scared of not having her support she found a way to make her own support and make it fun....
  • @ellan7104
Her cute little witch costume just makes me smile.
  • I was at the edge of my seat praying that this wasn't going to have a sad ending. Thank God and great video
  • @fluidwolf
I legitimately couldn't piece it together that she was blind until right near the end when she was looking past the dog instead of at it. Such a neat animation and story.

My art teacher play this in our class today and I love it already
