Attention, not everyone has a "jumpjet", but a backpack. Backpack is the main power supply/life support system for an Astartes. "Jumpjet", correctly Jump pack has only a few of them (for expample Assault marines).
  • It's possible that the Emperor intended to create more improved and stable versions of the space marines, once he had managed to complete the great crusade. Similar to how he replaced the thunder warriors after the conquest of Terra. Cawl was given complete access to the Emperor's gene labs, and he also mind melded with Ezekiel Sedayne. One of the key scientists involved in the development of the Astartes. Using his memories, he might've discovered files that contained unfinished blueprints for the next breed of super soldiers. Which he would've use as the basis for the development of the Primaris project. Further more, Cawl saw a memory where the Emperor told Ezekiel that he must continue His work. That one day he would think he is betraying the Emperor, but must nonetheless persevere. Cawl perceived that the Emperor was communicating with him through Ezekiel.
  • big difference between loyalist and chaos armors is that the chaos plating is studded layered instead of a single cast while it requires more maintenance it is a better defense against enemy bolterfire unless it hits a stud directly in wich case its the same defense as loyalist solid plate while it originally started as a necessity because of resource scarcity during the crusades, the layer composition was refined over the millennia so that ablative shedding was able to survive more bolterfire then a solid plate could hope to survive without internal damage especially against spalling or heat transfer designed ammo

The origin of primaris marines is games workshop wanting to make models with a more natural scale. I don't mind them. But it was a weird trick to sell more models, at least at first
  • @Marinealver
Even with Chaos there are 2 flavors, Legionaires and Renegades
  • @docvaliant721
The chapters that went so long without organs working and now with primaris they do work must be a culture shock.

One question: When a firstborn receives the Rubicon Primaris surgery do they increase in mass and height or stay the same but with increased strength? (I'm new to Warhammer 40k so I don't know)
  • The world eaters went to put down a thunder warrior insurrection and the thunder warriors were taking down 3 or 4 astartes for every one of them killed. That individual group was putting in custode level work even if they would have been wrecked by the custodes.
  • The Thunder Warriors were prototypes of what would later become the Adeptus Astares or Space Marines and were involved in the Unification Wars when the Emperor was reuniting Holy Terra sometime during the 28th to 30th millennium. In addition the Thunder Warriors used Mk1 Thunder Power Armor. Which according to the Inquisition, the Eclesiarchy and the Space Marines to be one of the most holy relics that anybody can find.
  • Love the videos, started with the size comparisons and now this! Hopefully you are blessed with growth in your journey

several things in the video are not correct or weren't fully researched but it was enjoyable.

More of these videos, please. A few of your smaller creators have upped your game so much and the older creators who have a large following ultimately aren’t as hungry anymore….. I’m not trying to hate on anyone but your channel is amazing. Please we need more of these so I can teach my little Primark’s about the Warhammer universe without my wife divorcing me because I’m training little serial killers 😂
  • @killermonky
Fun fact: The "firstborn" from the video thumbnail was intended to be a primaris marine.
  • @geniusofhate
"in one of the few times that proved to be a dark moment for him" bruh literally every moment is a dark moment for him thats the whole point
  • @ma20combat
Just pointing one thing, Chaos Astartes still uses Power Armour Mark 3 and 4 of the Horus Heresy era, FirstBorn and Primaris uses new Mark 9 and 10 Power Armours, must remember that Chaos Marines stopped in timeline of Power Armour upgrades, so, they dont use the same Armour
  • @AliceBowie
Yeah, the backpack has vents for the nuclear reactor that powers the power armor. Jump packs are relatively huge and squarish
  • @janhardwick2
not to nit pick, but you say numerous times there was 20 primarchs.... there was 21.Everyone forgets about Omegon.
