The grimdark is full of alien or xenos species running about, zipping through space and waging war on the Imperium and against each other. It is total war out there and there is no end in sight. Xenos like the Orks are in fact walking mushrooms in essence, there are also the tyranids which are abhorrent insect like amalgamation of different bioforms that work in unison under a hive mind and then there are the necrons which are essentially ancient immortal terminators. But then there are aliens like the Eldar that are humanoid and resemble humans to a large degree, some might even say they are exactly like us with the exception of the pointy ears and almond like eyes. So what if I was to say that these are not the only differences between the eldar and humans of 40K and that the biology of this enigmatic alien species is as different to us as ours are to crabs and squids? Here in this video we will dive deep into Eldar Biology and examine the intricate differences between them and humans. SO lets get to it.

Don't let the prospect of Eldussy distract you Brothers, think about the Emperor
  • A three minute Commercial is a no seller for me on watching channels. That you can't skip out of
  • @Masonicon
Aeldaris are closest thing Human Aliens that 40k had
  • @mackmind
I always imagined Aeldari as the embodiment of uncanny valley effect: humanoids that could be easily mistaken as "nicer" humans, but their inhuman behaviour and movements would immediately make them revoltingly alien 👾

Here's the real truth: Orks, Eldar and most of the other humanoid-like species in the galaxy look that way because the Old Ones crafted them to have roughly the say body plan and phenotypical bilateral, bipedal, tetra limbed, Prehensile upper appendages, cranial nerve center, internal rigid structure, one way digestive track, endothermal...ect. The real reason for it was because they were designed (including humans) to ape Necrotyr physiology/ Necron geometry during the war in heaven because they thought it was structured better for war. The components, internal structures and general anatomy are extremely different but, on the surface, look similar because they are trying to imitate a specific body layout.

I was not expecting to hear the word "jizz" in a 40k lore video 😂
  • Our evolution is derived from primates theirs from marsupials, which was accelerated by the Old Ones, I can however state that Eldar reproduction and pregnancy, while nearly perfectly identical to that of us humans, is slow, very, very slow, that being said there are cases when one Eldar couple can get lucky, one notable case is Eldrad himself, who is the father of Taldeer and Macha, the first being his eldest and firstborn legal child while the other a result of one-time affair, it should be noted that Eldar do not have a well-placed concept of a divorce

I may not be an Urutramarine, but I will follow Guilliman's lead and make drukhari halfbreeds.

Wouldn't quintuple-helix "DNA" be more properly called quintoxyribo-nucleic acid? (QNA)
  • @CommissarKane
Farseers Macha and Taldeer in love with their Space Marine BFs and lucky Yvraine gets Roboute Guilliman. WH 40k needs a dose of romance.

It very confusing, since the video show case doesn't matched with what being said. I'm so confused.
  • @kerbal666
So in short. Elder are crystals and Ork are fungi.
  • Is funny that the Aeldari never considered genetic modification to help their birthing processing and procreation. Just until they are no longer at risk for extinction.
  • @SkyFly19853
But what about the anatomy of Chaos Space Marines and Demons ?
  • @Taijiutsu
The Eldar are only good for one thing. Disintigration.
  • @DeezNuts-kl2te
There is a theory that The Old Ones created Aeldarii and Hono Sapiens from same ancestor species
