  • Roses are red, violets are blue. "I cull the herd. It's what I do."
  • Jacob Seed traumatized an entire games audience with just a song. That takes talent.
  • I love how Jacob is the only one of the family who seems to be in control almost 100% of the time. While playing through John and Faith's campaigns, as the deputy progresses, they become more desperate and panicked. But in Jacob's campaign, your progress only makes Jacob more confident. Up until the very end, Jacob was the only who didn't underestimate the deputy. In fact, his confidence in the deputy is what his plan hinged on entirely. Even Joseph himself somewhat loses confidence as you systematically pick off his family members one by one. Jacob, however, is the only one who seems to know how to do things right. Jacob's competence as an antagonist makes his campaign the only reason I replay the game.
  • I really want to listen to this song, but every time I try, I black out and wake up in a bloody mess.
  • Jacob: Plays "Only You". Deputy: So anyway I started blasting
  • Jacob was my favorite antagonist in the game. Liked his Cult Missions that are EXTREME TRAINING instead of 'fuck you, say yes' or 'haha you're high now'. Also liked the deeper, twisted meaning to the lyrics of the song. Only you could get into the Whitetails. Only you could get close to Eli. Only you had the right balance of power and survival sense to mindlessly run through the Wolf's Den and put him down. In a different way, you made the darkness bright to the Eden's Gate, by eliminating the opposition. You were a double agent, and both you and Eli had no fucking clue about it. Tammy and Pratt were right, no one comes out the same after what Jacob's done to you. Gameplay-wise, his final mission was GREAT. The transition from the bunker door to the blood red sky and the speakers towering over you just makes you feel like you're out of your depth. When you finally get out of your own damn mind, you're surrounded by cultists, and in a sort of 'king of the hill' type way, Jacob, trying to pick you off, which fits with his role as a sniper on the military. To me, he's the Vaas of this game. A minor antagonist, but the one that's the most memorable.
  • Sheriff: *Turns on Radio, “Hey that sounds pretty good” Deputy: “So you have chosen death”

Its amazing how they turned such an amazingly calm and relaxing song into one of the most distrubing tracks in the series.
  • i remember finishing the game, i was dining at a McDonald with my gf at the time, and i heard this song playing, i sat there having flashback moment and she asked if I was alright and casually I said "oh yeah I was brainwashed to kill with this song"
  • *grabs revolver from the table* "Ahh shit, here we go again!"
  • "You are not a hero. You are a tool" -Jacob Seed
  • I’m not going to lie to you, I heard this song from the other room when my brother was playing the game the other day, and I physically recoiled and braced like Jacob would show up and I’d wake up in that red room all of the sudden. God, this game was incredible.
  • When it was shown that Eli was dead I thought it was a mind game but then it wasn't, and he started singing only you, literally goosebumps
  • I literally heard this in the pub I work at the other night and I paused for like 5 seconds. My co-worker ended up shaking my shoulder asking if I was alright XD God damn it, Ubisoft, you have ruined this song for me for LIFE!!!!
