Yeah, if you could just go ahead and drop that part 2 a week early, that would be great.

Love how there was a "no Disney questions" restriction yet Scar still managed to get a Disneyland thing in when explaining his username 😆😆

The thing I, as a kindergarten teacher, love the most about Hermitcraft is that it is a bunch of responsible grown ups showing everyone that adults can play and be creative together and just enjoy playing pretend, building with blocks and getting excited for imaginary experiences. They laugh, prank each other, care for one another, cry over digital pets and enjoy creative builds made by others or as a joint effort. And most of it isnt even uploaded. Its obvious that they enjoy playing together, something rarely shown in sports or competitions or most workplaces. Kids growing up with Hermitcraft will keep playing and having fun with friends. And adults watching Hermitcraft will be more open to share joy in gaming and playing with their kids, as they see other adults not worry about coming across as being childish. I love the example this community sets. ❤
  • Hearing scar (and skizz) talk about disability and owning it and not letting things that you can no longer do the same way as you did in the past get to you really made my heart warm, as a newly diagnosed disabled person, I really needed that uplifting 💛

For the next Life series, you should do Jimmy's Life. Half the server is dedicated to protecting Jimmy, the other half is trying to make sure he goes out first again. Jimmy gets 10 lives, everyone else gets 3. The usual rules apply to the people with 3 lives, green, yellow, red etc. Jimmy can kill with impunity.

The most fun part of the charity event was watching everyone's reactions as we blew past the $25k goal and added another $25k every fifteen minutes

Scar is so hardworking the only person who has ever thought he might be lazy is himself
  • As someone with a progressive neurological condition, Scar holds an extra special place in my heart. The challenges I face are slightly different to scar in that I haven't had to endure long periods of hospitalisation, I am just forever dealing with new limitations that just slowly creep up and steal portions of my life, little by little. The way Scar is so open and accepting of his disability really helped me to mentally take ownership of my own. X

you know the whole bit about "owning your disabilities" is such a great advice for everything. Not exclusively for a disability but for everything you are insecure about. Really really great, can't wait for part 2.

This is for Scar. I’m a nurse and I follow a lot of nurse creators on IG . One of them, a pediatric nurse, showed the GO Kart in hospital and how impressed they were by it and how much the kids they take care of love it. And it was brand new. I feel certain it was sponsored by the Hermitcraft charity livestream. The nurse didn’t mention Hermitcraft or anything—they didn’t really have any idea where the kart came from, they were just glad to have it and excited to be able to play games with their patients if their patients asked them to. You were right when you described the hospital like a prison. You’ve brought a light in the darkness to so many. Thank you so much.

Holy crap, that hour went by fast. Scar is the quintessential storyteller.
  • This is literally the only time I have checked my phone immediately after I wake up, and I have been rewarded! Edit: knowing that the podcast is almost an hour long, and that this was posted less than 10 minutes ago, means that all around the world there is a couple hundred people watching this video with me. Right now. I love that

It's finally out!! Wow! Scar is finally on the best podcast show on the internet!! Awesome!!
  • @N212LIVE
I really appreciate Scar's consideration with the charity event with Gamer's Outreach. Both with the recipients and the donators, Scar made sure the donations were tangible and I think that made a huge impact. I'm 100% ready for the next Hermit charity event whenever that is!

"I appreciate the five star review of my performance" in response to haters sending rude messages at the end of a match is such a lovely (and funny) attitude to have. This is why Scar is Scar. I would never respond (or even think) like that. This guy knows how to turn anything positive and fun.
  • @cwbonn83
First, seeing Scar with you guys made me so happy! Secondly, a 'Hermitcon' would be freakin' amazing!
  • @ImMarz1pan
Scar is genuinely one of the most determined people I've ever seen and I hope he knows that he's a role model to so many people
  • Scar the most extroverted hermit, says he is a huge introvert. Made me laugh. Scars confidence I one of the reasons I adore him so much so 😊
  • @Hat_shaped
Man it's gonna hurt so bad to smile for 57 minutes straight ❤
  • Hearing Scar talk about anything just puts a smile on my face. You can't beat his positivity and enthusiasm!
