I was frustrated that the episode just ended here so I did some hunting and watched the rest of the episode. Dori didn't find her dress at Kleinfelds, she didn't even try on any others in the room. She said she was frustrated at not knowing what she wanted and said she felt like she was letting everyone down. Randy was very kind and said "I've never once had a bride who didn't find her dress, and it's ok you didn't find yours this time!" Dori ended up feeling better and saying despite not finding her dress, she still had a good time today with her family and still had the special moment with them when she tried on Mama Dolly's dress. After digging around I found the dress she ended up getting married in and it looked a lot like the dress here 6:51 but instead of capped sleeves, a thicker spaghetti strap. Honestly wish TLC gave better resolutions to episodes like this with a follow up/closure for their audience.

Love how these three generations get along with each other. Both mothers would love to see her wear their dress, but are also understanding that it is not the dress for her and respect that she wants her own dress. How much fun it must be to plan (and attend) a wedding in this family. Bless their hearts. And I mean that, sincerely.

3 beautiful generations. Three LOVING generations even better- celebrate THAT

These three ladies got on like a house on fire! Oh my gosh I can imagine all the giggles they share whenever they're together!

With that vintage dress, this bride should have been on the show "Something Borrowed, Something New". It might have been fun for the bride to have a portrait picture taken in the heirloom dress.

I have my 40 year old dress. My daughter will be choosing her own dress, I love that this family had some fun trying on the dress and did not pressure her to wear it.

Wow the old dress is a beautiful classic .wish dresseses looked like that more often! Covered and simple

I feel when a bride is overwhelmed and disappointed that the design she chose is not fitting how she wants, its best to put her is something totally out of her comfort zone. They should have pick plain satin dresses in different shapes (princess ball gown, mermaid, a-line…) to be a palate cleanser, then build from there.

That original dress was gorgeous! She looked amazing in it. I started crying when she wore it. I felt like it certainly could have been updated to look more modern.

Dolly is Elizabeth Taylor! Remarried one husband after several in between, and looks gorgeous in red.

The old dress was gorgeous! All the other brides turned and looked. I wonder if any of them asked to try it on! I would wear it!

Grandma’s dress was beautiful but it understandable to want to have her own dress. Grandma is awesome. ❤

I don’t even want to watch these anymore bc they are cutting off the ending and I don’t get to see what the bride chose. This is ridiculous 😡

LOVE the grandma! She has spunk, confidence and seems like so much fun!!

"Oh my god... that looks like a fun appointment..." Randy throwing shade early today 😎

It felt like the consultant and Randy weren't paying attention to what she was saying. When she said "off white" in a cringey tone, that screamed "she wants white" to me. Instead, they brought in a bunch of ivory dresses. She said she wanted an illusion neckline. She liked the necklines, but the "ethereal" skirts kind of fell flat on her. I'd have tried a white gown with a poofier skirt and an illusion neckline.

This grandma is wild and fun alright😂😂😂
  • I would wear grandma's dress for the ceremony and a new one for the reception. Love the satin.

Lordy! She wanted a floaty dress for a beach wedding and they brought in 6 that were PERFECT for a beach wedding and looked great on her. What did she want? Did she even look at dresses on the internet ahead of time to see styles? She didn’t even try on half of them! One thing I’ve learned from this show is don’t judge anything by how it looks on the hanger!
