  • Ernie bringing up the OLine injuries for the Chiefs was good to hear. Seems like that has been forgotten about
  • @bigEsmall
Jules: "How has Patrick Mahomes evolved?" Ernie: "He started off really good and he's gotten better." Just like Bill talking to the media.
  • @nexigram
I distinctly remember that AFC championship game and thinking that we had won this one, but it felt like a torch was about to be passed. The end of one era and the beginning of a new one. Especially the way that 4h quarter went down; everyone in the world knew that whoever won that coin flip in OT was guaranteed to win the game.
  • You beat them five years ago. The Chiefs have that Patriot way of changing on the fly as they need. It is honestly uncanny how much the Chiefs remind me of the Brady-led Pats. They were a high-flying splash play team but then Reek leaves and now they have to take the underneath and intermediate shit. Still won. Then they couldn’t get anyone to catch a damn thing so they lean on defense and still won. They may be reinventing themselves again this year! It’s looking like their best team yet with both a potentially explosive offense and lockdown defense. I know it’s annoying to non Chiefs fans right now but we will look back on these Chiefs years just like the Pats of old. With admiration and awe. Edit: I hadn't watched second half of the video when I wrote this. Big up Julian for recognizing what I recognized.

We have these teams now with their dedicated staff utilizing next gen AI driven statistics that can't figure out when to punt the ball. Ernie with his three ring binder going to the moon like the Apollo Program on analog.
  • @IronHide3910
“I don’t know any good teams that were soft”. That says a lot.
  • The game plan was "Chiefs defense in 2018 was dog water and Bob Sutton was an idiot so all we gotta do is keep pace on the scoreboard and they won't stop us when it matters" turned out to be true
  • Yoooooo! Producers! High pass filter that guest microphone on Ernie! That low end is BOOMIN!
  • The only way was the catch Pat early before he knew what all it takes. Tom knew.
  • I could legit listen to this guy talk all day. Something nostalgic about it. Don’t really get this type of honest, effortless commentary or dialogue on the sport anymore. Reminds me of my dad’s lectures about the sport when he was trying to teach me as I was growing up who obviously wasn’t as knowledgeable as this guy on football but he knew his shit.
  • How to beat Mahomes.... hope they have a shit o-line like they did in the play off loss to Tom or have injuries on the team.
  • @Narrate918
Ernie is the actual football genius that Michael Lombardi so desperately needs to be thought of. I love listening to him.
  • @benmecha01
now you should have Travis Kelce on to do this game
  • Is using his notes from and for the 2018 season … all they had to do was wait for the refs to call linemen off sides .. that’s how they beat the Chiefs that season . On that play Brady threw a interception in over time , ball would have been back to chiefs on automatic field goal range. But a defensive penalty. And people say ohh the Refs give it to the chiefs . Lol
  • @AdmV0rl0n
Some day I hope to see an Ernie and Bill show. Imagine the football IQ on show and the insight therein. ..
  • @rolizabeth92
Can you ask His excellency Sir. Adams, if Tom Brady reached out to him for notes against the Chiefs when they played in the Super Bowl in Tampa.
