Don Rickles truly was a class act. May he rest in peace.

That's the most beautiful ending to any of his talks on this show. merchant of venom he might be called, but the finish was 100% class
-
I was just waiting for the punch line at the end, but that speech shows how much he truly adores George. Love these roasts!
-
Rickles always ended with love, but this was his BIGGEST show of love & respect to anybody he ever " roasted " ...brought tears to my 55 year old Italian ass ! THIS, was my youth !!

These are the Greats will never will be replaced again

how come all these older generation roast are so elegant and funny without all the vulgarities. I respect that.

The ending of his speech in tribute to George Burns was the true Don Rickles.

I just love how Don Rickles ends his roasts. R.I.P. Don and thank you!

I can't believe I've only just caught on to Rickles. What an amazingly eloquent comedian. His closing lines are so warm and genuine and his line delivery perfect. What a talent he was.
-
There is more talent on that stage than in our current era. Real talent.
-
Back when people knew that jokes were jokes and you always ended with class.
-
Don's last sentences are so beautifully expressed
-
George Burns always showed class and style.
-
I like it when after each roast, Don tells them sincerely how much he loves them.
