This game is an emotional masterpiece...i get the anger of haters..the scene made me angry as hell too..but that’s what the game wanted..to evoke that rage in you and experience the transition of Ellie’s emotions yourself..

Someone said they hated the game because the deaths had no weight, but the deaths were realistic, instant and almost no build up, personally I had to pause the game after Jessie got shot because it had a lot of weight, the more real the deaths were the more I felt like I was actually losing a friend in front of me

Love the cuts from Abby saying "You killed all my friends" leading up to Ellie shouting "You're gonna fucking die!" And cuts to her killing all of Abby's friends. Was really emotional and epic, well done!

Favourite band + favourite game = perfection

woah woah woah woah. How many woah's does this need? I don't even know myself. I should just quit editing my video all together because It's never gonna beat this masterpiece of a video. The parallels are insane, the timing is perfect. Song choice is on point. Game is incredible. Can I give this video more praise than I already have? I could, but this comment would be 10,000 words long. Am I over-reacting? No. Seriously though, best video on your channel.

This game is the personification of the concept that we all think that we are the hero in our own story. Naughty Dog is so god damn brilliant that they made us realize that the protagonist from part 1 was the real bad guy all along. And this edit is absolute perfection.

Shit this was intense. LOVED the parallel starting at 2:55, with the music calming down and everything .. such a nice, tense atmosphere. And overall, amazing job in summarizing the narrative 👌

This was amazing! Say what you will about the story, the characters, but this edit just showed off so much of what made the game great (imo). You're prob the only one I've seen to include Abby in a way that doesn't just imply she's the villain and (love her or hate her) it captures the intent Naughty Dog had in showing that everyone's human and the heroes of their own stories by using Ellie and Abby as parallels to one another. Awesome job

This is bloody brilliant. You captured it. As someone who has survived trauma I can honestly say this game was difficult to play through. I loved the game, but playing it was hard. I loved it only on my second run because on my first run all I could feel was Ellie’s anger, guilt, and regret because those are my feelings toward my parents. The game hit home. Neil and Halley knocked it out of the park. They tackled something extremely mature in ways that were daring and downright painful. But they were honest to the core. If you didn’t like it, I respect your opinion (sans the misogyny crap) because it’s hard to understand what Ellie feels. However, I think the story does a bang up job at putting you in her shoes. You just have to allow yourself time to grieve Joel before your tackle the second half of the game.

When people ask me why I love this game so much I will refer them to this edit. Thanks and good job!!!
