The Peter Cullen Situation.

Respect Peter Cullen, always.

We lost a legend last year in Kevin Conroy. He was Batman until his last breath. Even if you think Peter's voice isn't as good as it used to be, appreciate him while he's still around and active.

Peter Cullen is 82 years old and still remains working actively, but a huge portion of the fanbase, still live in their parent's home and are collecting action figures that man voiced.

Just as James Earl Jones will always be the voice of Darth Vader, Peter Cullen will ALWAYS be the voice of Optimus Prime. Thank you, Mr. Cullen for all that you have given us!

Both Peter Cullen and Frank Welker deserve so much respect. The two of them being able to come back to voice these characters in a age where hollywood does change the voice actors but that they lets them stay and Peter is just killing it and is just so amazing.

Judging from the title, I was concerned something bad happened with him, but seeing people disrespect him is really annoying now watching the video through. He's an awesome guy, and if people think they can disrespect him, then they're unworthy of even being Transformers fans. Plus, I also agree how his performance in the Bay films is easily one of their best aspects. If you disagree about my "unworthy of being transformers fans" statement, that is fine, but I'm simply disgusted with those who'd dare disrespect this legend of a voice actor!

Meeting Peter Cullen will forever be a core happiest memory for me. He doesn't just voice Prime. He IS Optimus Prime.

There’s no one who can voice Optimus like Peter. I hope we as fans can enjoy his performances for a long time.

God Bless Peter Cullen. This Legend voiced the roll of 1 of the greatest characters ever created in fiction. Optimus was literally a father figure for so many kids. He's brought us so much joy over the years. I hope Mr Cullen voices Prime for the next 10 years and I wish him nothing but health and happiness for the years to come 🙏🙏 💙

Frank and Peter are THE VOICES of Transformers. Without them, Its not Transformers. I can't thank both of them for ALL their hard work!!!! Hope they both keep going!!!

He won't last forever, has been such a legend. I hope he knows he's appreciated. The problems in all Transformers films has been the human characters, scripts and story. You cant point your finger at Peter Cullen.

There's two things that keep Peter coming back: 1. He loves the fans and the fans love him. They petitioned for him to be the voice in 07 and he simply loves them continuing to show him love as the icon 2. Prime is a link to his brother. He tells that story of before he went in for the audition and the influence his brother had on how he approached the role and continues to approach him to this day. I think Peter will be like Kevin Conroy; voicing this character until he passes because he loves this character, working with other actors like Frank Welker and the fans

How anyone could disrespect the voice of an amazing hero, is beyond me. The man doesn't have to keep playing the role, but to the die hard fans, it is more than appreciated that he does. I, as well as many, wish Peter Cullen nothing but happiness and wellness moving forward

I just met him yesterday and had him sign my MP Optimus - I talked with him and he is so kind. Hearing him say transform and roll out is unreal, and it's way better than I could have possibly imagined.

I couldn't believe some people where calling for his retirement. Cullen is an absolute blessing and it's amazing he's graced the character of Optimus Prime for so long. I hope he can do it forever.

Loved Cullen's work in Rise of the Beasts. The "take off his head" and "time to show the real power of the Prime" give me chills.

Why would people be mad at someone who still works hard to provide quality work and also cares about the fans. He’s an incredible person. Never tell a legend to stop being legend.

I think Peter Cullen did amazing with the material he was given for Rise of The Beasts. It is not his fault that seemingly no one knows how to write a movie anymore. His voice still has the energy as it did 40 years ago, he just needs the right plot and script to make the movie better
