Honestly finding a passion is a full time job

To be honest, i feel jealous looking and watching most of my colleagues have their own talents, hobbies and etc.

This makes a lot of sense I used to get my dopamine from hobbies like crochet, playing instruments, drawing, and baking Even reading and having conversations with people But now I'm older, I'm tired all the time, I don't want to talk or interact with people because it's too exhausting, I work a draining repetitive desk job all day, and the only other activities I do are watching YouTube videos, eating, playing video games occasionally because it's the only things I enjoy or have the energy for (I even get tired of video games quickly now), and I rarely go outside either unless I absolutely need to for a specific reason

At Date Girls: what are you passionate about? Me: finding a passion
  • 2:28 “You’re addicted to eating junk food.” Me: Slowly puts my Dorito back in the bag… 😳
  • When I was 8, I wanted to be an astronaut. Now, as a 14 year old, I want to be a cameraman. They always survive lol. Edit: this is a joke, do not take seriously.

After Covid induced depression I went to Michael’s and bought tons of art supplies and watched YouTube videos. I’ve made so many beautiful things! I don’t know if it’s my passion yet but you nailed the whole theory

Note if you end up finding you're passion, don't say "I love doing this but I'm so bad at it. So and so is so much better than me, etc." and give up. Be patient with yourself and keep practicing it. Skills take a lifetime to build up, and you are GOING to be bad at something when first trying it guaranteed. When you find your passion, don't give up on it and keep building on it!

Making art , learning a programming language , listening to music , learning a new language , reading books , meditating , writing journal , learning about new - new skills etc are the possible list of passions which i have ! Edit : to be honest , I enjoy it all so it seems as if it all is my passion . As I am really passionate about all these things .

Biggest struggle for me right here. It's not that I can't find anything I'm passionate about, it's that I'm passionate about sooooo many things.
  • I had a small conversation with my mom this morning about my future... It is very sad because I have nothing I'm interested at or passionate about... I feel worthless and now I'm desperately searching for something I'm passionate about... Why Life gotta be so sad man....

I just came across this video, can't believe it is years old. HOWEVER, it is EXCELLENT!! It is exactly what I needed to know - that finding your passion comes from what you love to create, not consume.
  • @IkeSan
My problem is that I always get passion in something but then I get bored of it but later like 6 months later then I get back into it and repeat the loop.

This was one of the most informative videos I've watched. Thanks for packing so much info into one short video. All killer no filler.
