In the 90’s, we did a tour of the Cadbury factory in Tasmania. My 4 yr old son had an Ernie doll (from Sesame Street) who he had to bring with him but wasn’t allowed to do the tour. The lovely ladies at the front offered to keep Ernie safe, and at the end of the tour when we went to get Ernie back, he had little chocolate bars taped all over him. It was so kind of the staff to do that, and something that he still remembers to this day. It was a great tour too! Ate ourselves sick.

For those saying crème eggs used to be runny, I remember in australia as a young child when we first had them at Easter. They filling was thick. They had a very distinct flavour. I am now 51 and a half. They have not been the same for a very long time

Fun fact: Australian Cadbury chocolate has a different recipe then the UK as we need our chocolate to melt at a higher temperature because of our climate.

I'm proud to say that we have a Cadbury Factory around the corner from where I live in PORT ELIZABETH- SOUTH AFRICA 🇿🇦❤🍫

If I worked there for 6 months they would need a forklift to get me in and out of work. LOL
  • The number of people who fixated on the calories floored me! Sugar and calories are very different things, and someone who wants to avoid sugar isn't necessarily doing so to avoid caloric intake!

Cadbury is the best here in South Africa. Definitely better than anywhere else in the world

I got to travel to the UK a few years back and was amazed at how much better the fast food and chocolate was compared to the US, here its filled with a crap ton of preservatives and you can definitely taste the difference.

That sucks they throw away those bars with a small imperfection in them. They should make a bar called, "misfit" & sell them at cheaper price once a year for kids & adults that can't afford a regular bar

In a world of seemingly endless chaos, fear and uncertainty, we have ourselves to be the light and love to OURSELVES and to those around us. Thank you David ❤
  • As a kid a creme egg bought from woolworths the creme would be so runny it would go everywhere. They were lethal on a hot day lol. Now if you buy one from the shop on a hot day, the fondant is like a paste. Terrible

I'm still watching, but just a quick note: The White Creme Egg trays could surely have some hook/groove along the edges that joins adjoining trays together and turns into a hinge??? Mouthwatering!
  • @cornjobb
i had to give up on the creme eggs - there's so much sugar in that filling, it just sets your teeth on edge
  • @doorwhisperer
I like the splashes of rich purple paint they have around their factory

When people forget what the good tastes like bad becomes acceptable. Britain shouldn't mess with Cadbury's Company.

Lindt makes a delicious cream-filled white chocolate ball, and you don't have to hunt for it!
  • About 50 years ago my neighbors grandpa brought me some Cadbury chocolate, it was the best I ate, i would always look forward for him to come to the U.S.and bring us chocolate bars, nowadays it taste like every other chocolate bars, they should not mess with a good thing

I am a huge fan of the "Flake", I first had one when my sister, mother and I visited family in England when I was 11. Have loved them ever since and for years would get them as X-mas gifts from our relatives. Now, I order them online, thank goodness for the internet.
