Man, The Doors are timeless. Pure Rock n Roll.
-
Robbie Krieger - probably the most underrated guitar player ever. Every riff a masterstroke.
-
One of the most complete, perfect songs ever written and performed.
-
Don't want to take away credit from Jim Morrison, he was a genius of his time, but the Doors just wouldn't be the Doors without Manzarek's masterful key playing. His playing makes this and the rest of their music instantly recognizable.

This incredible masterpiece by the doors just makes me want to get in a car on a dark and rainy night in the middle of the summer and just drive through the back roads of America to get away from all my problems and just experience things i have never experienced before. I just want to live.

One of best singers ever. Such a bluesy soulful voice.

No fucking words can describe the magical feeling of this song.... So much darkness, love, and romance.

It's fall, 2021. Was sitting in my truck right next to the beach in Ocean Beach, Ca. I could hear the waves and there was a wicked lightning storm all around that night. This song was playing and for a few minutes, it was synchronicity.

The Doors are the gold standard for the best in American rock music, and this song is arguably their pinnacle. Also, it's the final song on their final album. What a final statement!

I am 77 year old grandmother! I have never gotten tired nof these songs. Lookng back on my wild past! Staying alive, but almost all my old Hippy Friends left me. They went Riding on the Storm!

I met Ray Manzarek in an Ace Hardware in St. Helena Ca in the early 2000's. I didn't recognize him and while we were standing in line, I said "Has anyone ever told you that you look like Ray Manzarek?" He replied: "Yes, my wife says that all the time." Great memory.

This whole album is timeless Bought it right away - that was 71 or 72. Still is listening to it - 23. This mix of rock, blues, jazz and sadness, Jimโs voice, keyboard and guitar makes it in-temporal.

Driving in a thunder story listening to this song is epic and timeless

I slept and this song came on the radio and I heard this in a dream. Definitely one of my best dream.

Great Music never dies. This is one that never will.

One of my dad's favorite songs. Monsoon season here in Tucson doesn't feel complete until this song comes on at least ONCE somehow. The perfect jam for late night driving, cruising through the rain, or enjoying a cloudy, dreary day.

Sad and surreal, hauntingly beautiful and far away was how I felt when I first listened to this song in 1971. I still feel the same way in 2022. This is the mark of all powerful music. Timeless!!
