For one. That captain of that boat needs to have his captains license revoked! I offshore fish regularly. And always watch the forecast. We didn’t fish all week because of the storms. They had no business being out there this past week. Also, I hope my family doesn’t give up on me after only 38 hours. Damn, that’s all your life is worth.

Divers should always carry signalling items. Submersible flare, mirror, bright flashlight, orange smoke.

God bless these divers for surviving 36 HOURS! My husband and I had this happen while diving off the coast of Freeport, TX in 1997 but it was only 8 mins before we were picked up by boat. WE were terrified. Amazing strength this couple has!

"It's God performing a miracle using the Coast Guard's technology" ... I'd argue that it was the Coast Guard using the Coast Guard's technology, the divers having a functioning dive light to shine, and a whole lotta luck.

Damm, amazing strength by that couple. Navy seal super powers. I don't think i could survive 40 hours in my bed outside . And still alert enough to spot a plane and signal it.

They'll search for an overboard cruise guest for a week, but, only give three days to scuba divers wearing wet suits and BCs? That's crazy.
