What is China like in 2024? China is one of the most misunderstood countries in the world. On one hand Western media teaches us to fear China and for US citizens our government tells us that traveling to China is dangerous! But I just went to Chongqing, the largest city in China, and this vlog will teach everyone the truth about what is China in 2024!

  • I just came back from Shanghai with a family of ten. We had a great time. And the city's vitality was palpable. What impressed me the most was the people. They are friendly and helpful and have a sense of relentless entrepreneurship. So many people of different nationalities seem not to be dithered by the wild news of despair and miseries the Western narratives are painting the country to be.

I'm in Shanghai, right now, after living in Philadelphia for the second half of my life. I am now 67 years old. There is no lockdown of motor cycles/bikes To prevent theft, No havoc upon malls stealing jewelry, No car "drifting" in intersections, No visible drug use, And happy people Everywhere I look, tis a Beautiful thing. Reminds me of the late 50s, Early sixties growing up in the united states. It's a shame that lawless behavior has become commonplace In the u s. And many politicians are allowing it to happen. It breaks my heart. But i'm in a happy place now shanghai, One of the greatest cities on earth!😎✌️🎶

Chinese are wonderful people. I visited China long time ago. I wish to go back again.
  • I notice people look happy, dress fashionably, no one is overweight, the streets are clean and beautiful and the architecture is incredible while restaurants look inviting.
  • I was literally just in Chongqing, I left today and took the high speed train to Chengdu. When got got to my hotel I popped open my laptop and saw your video haha, what a coincidence. I highly recommend people visit Chongqing, it's an amazing city. I’ve been travelling through China with my father to celebrate his retirement. It's been an extraordinary trip, both our first time I China

Our government doesn't implement HATRED education. That is why we welcome anybody to China. However, people in the west, in Japan, in South Korea, even in Taiwan, have bizarre and sick hatred towards Chinese people, speechless.
  • It's so refreshing to get a realistic view of China. Instead of the mainstream distorted view.
  • China has progressed by leaps & bounds. Chonqing is a mega city. Of a whopping 35 millions residents, which about half the entire population of the UK or France or Spain or Italy or Thailand, or the whole population of Australia or Canada or Malaysia!

I just came back from 3 weeks vacation in China. I went to Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Harbin and it was amazing. People always friendly, streets and subway clean, very safe, fantastic food. By the way, in Shenzhen, all taxis are electric and scooters too. In few years I’ll retire and go live there.
  • @Shenzhou.
Many Chinese tend to be optimistic and look forward to a bright future ahead. However, many Westerners are increasingly pessimistic and tend to have a gloomy outlook of the future.
  • @Jablokaisgood
Im from Finland and to me it is mental that americans think that China is evil. Is it american thing to hate china?
  • @vulcan4d
The people of every country are amazing. It is our leaders that stink and keep us separated.
  • @YongChengLand
I am Chinese, I hate keyboard warriors in China and all countries😢
  • @huatlam8752
Seriously. Not one person on the Internet promote Chongqing more inthusiaticly than Alex does. The true unspoken hero of Chongqing. Muchly appreciated.
