How Nintendo GAMECUBE Games ACTUALLY Look!

Also watch my PS3 Showcase:    • How PLAYSTATION 3 Games ACTUALLY Look...

In this video I talk about the sixth generation of consoles and how the Nintendo GameCube didn't perform well compared to the PS2 and the first Xbox, despite selling more than the Sega Dreamcast.

Then, I detail the equipments used to record this video (Nintendo GameCube DOL-001 model, Carby, RetroTink 4K and Avermedia GC573 Capture Card)... and, finally, I showcase several games.

The gameplay segment of the video features video games such as Luigi's Mansion, Resident Evil, Super Mario Sunshine, Zelda The Wind Waker, Wave Race Blue Storm, Star Fox Assault and more!

oh nooooo :( damn I'm sorry to tell you this but the original Resident Evil 4 on game cube uses tank controls still. its just in 3d .... you cant strafe and have to stop moving to shoot and have quick turn just like the re1 remake on cube. the reason they opted for this control scheme was because they wanted it to still feel like a resident evil game.

Early 2000's graphics have a distinct charm to them

Great content. Metroid Prime is my favorite GameCube game ever, the fact that it ran at 60fps was and still is a superb technical feature of this epic masterpiece.

Luigis mansion is the best tech demo of all time. Graphics still holds up today.

I remember a magazine when I was younger tested the durability of the PS2,Gamecube and Xbox by throwing all 3 of them out a 5 or 6 story window and the Gamecube was the only one that worked afterwards. Just something I always found funny. Dunno how they made it so durable.

I will forever miss being able to play Windwaker on my old Gamecube. Windwaker really is the greatest game of all time that I have ever played, just for the sheer amount of memories it gave me with my Dad. Playing in his room until late at night and he would always fall asleep way before I did, so I just turned the volume down and played until my eyes literally gave in. I basically know the whole game in and out and I haven't played it in more than 20 years now, I'm gonna be 30 next month, I miss it so much man. Everytime I see clips of it and listen to the amazing OST it feels just like back then. Incredible what a game can make you feel. TY for this video and showing a lot more people what the magic was all about

I always forget Game Cube came out in 2001, it felt way ahead of the PS2 and Xbox in terms of graphical fidelity at the time. It feels like it holds up a lot better today than its competitors too.

This is a great record. GameCube rendered colours so well compared to the PS2. The Dreamcast also handled colour really well. PS2 graphics had their own dulled 'darkish' vibe, but its great to have the GC as a colourful alternative 6th gen console. I didn't know the GC video output was cleaner than Wii. That's a reason to keep using my GC instead of playing on Wii I guess. I pay on a Trinitron and the GC is very clean, especially games like F Zero, really looks "HD" on my Trini.

I came across a Gamecube CD when I was a child, but I never knew where that CD was from, and I only discovered the existence of the Gamecube in 2014 through a Zelda and Pokémon game that are not in this video. It's great to discover a little more about this console

Dude first of all how the hell do you "only" have around 5000 subs? You put so much work into this video and btw its amazing! Its like watching a documentary about my all time favourite gaming era (gamecube and ps2). For me the ps2 and gamecube still hold the best memories, playing games like gta san andreas at my friends house for the very first time whilest having lunch break from school. His apartment was like 2 minute walk away from school and we had a 2 hours break. So every time i got invited by his parents for lunch and after we sit down and playd gta san andreas and other games on ps2 and gamecube. What a time to be alive man! Those memories feel like a tressure.

Great video ! I love the digital output from the NGC, I use an HDMI dongle to VGA to get a neat 480p signal, then play on an old 480p Phillips LCD. Love it
