Doesn’t matter when you are from, Ireland Northern Ireland, England , Wales, Scottish. This man is hilarious. The Glasgow sense of humour is priceless.

As a non Scott, as soon as I saw the words Glasgow and Terrorist attack together, I started chuckling uncontrollably and felt guilty about it. After watching how hard Scottish people are laughing at the idea, my respect has gone through the roof because it's this type of emotional maturity that makes these terrorists die for nothing. You guys can laugh at dark things and that's why they lose their power over you. Your dark sense of humour is a sign of strength not weakness (at least in this context). Compared to Americans who take endless glory in victimhood.

There will never be another one anywhere near the likes of Billy Connolly and I am grateful to have been alive in the time of Billy Connolly
  • The line that cracked me up the most was the suicide bomb instructor, 'Pay attention, lads, I am only going to show you this once'. The tears were rolling down my cheeks.

Billy is the only person that I'm aware of (28 years old and lived in Glasgow my whole life) that can bring the whole city together - its sad because it feels like we're getting to the end of his career. A living legend who will have a statue with a cone on the head one day 💚

Billy's gift and the reason so many Glasgow people love him is that he made them feel the beauty in their culture and ways even with all the flaws, if only every other culture, country, belief system had a Billy Connolly

Here in Northern Ireland we've no problem getting Billy's humour. Many a time he's cheered us up when we've been going through bad times. Lots of Scottish lingo is the same as ours. I've Scottish heritage and I'm proud of that! Love to Billy as he fights his illnesses. 😍😍

  • Top Class comedic commentary! I remember watching the news flashes about this terrorist attack on the BBC and I remember thinking at the time "I sure do feel sorry for those terrorists". They never attacked Scotland again! BIG YIN , YOU RULE!

Billy Connolly is one of the best stand ups in the world..
  • The Scottish people are the most warm hearted people in the world, but cross them at your own risk.
  • "We're not sure about religious fanatics without a fucking football team" gets me every time 🤣🤣
