I am not an Alabama fan but respect what Coach Saban accomplished there. That last bit with the hat was emotional.

The Saban tribute dropped me. Looking after my mom who has Alzheimer's and my one oasis was watching Alabama play. It remided me of the years when my mom was a whole person then.

No matter how cut throat we act towards one another throughout each season, we ALL were reminded that a special era in our Conference history has just come to a close. That hat hanging on the wall in the closing scene represented GREATNESS that we may never witness again. Thank you, SEC shorts, for that tear-wrenching reminder. Well done, indeed.

I got teary eyed at the end. Our team only beat Alabama once. Coach Saban is simply the best. Will miss you Coach Saban! You certainly deserve a great retirement. 😢😢

Had to fight back tears, I was young when Bear retired, but I still remember it. But this one hits us Bama fans really hard. Thanks for all the victories and memories Coach!🎉😢

"You never really know the best years of your life are happening until they're in the rearview mirror". As a Bama fan, that's what was so special about the Nick Saban era. We KNEW we were witnessing history from the beginning and were able to appreciate it all the way through. So grateful that I got to witness Coach Saban's career, and THANK YOU SEC Shorts for the meaningful little tribute there at the end. Short and sweet but very powerful. You guys continue to be a class act. God bless!

No one will ever duplicate what he did in Alabama truly end of an era. Best Dynasty of all time in college football. He’s the GOAT and I hope he enjoys every bit of his retirement.

As a Bama alum, this past week has been so chaotic - the retirement of Saban, hiring of a new coach, trying to salvage recruits and keep as many as possible out of portal, that I haven’t had a moment to sit back and let it soak in that Saban is really gone. The ending of this short was just…wow. 😭 So touching. What a ride as a Bama fan - I’ll never forget it. Thank you, Coach. 🐐 RTR
