If a tech priest can lather a 20km long battleship in oil while praying to it, you can lather your face with moisturiser twice a day Save 70% off your skincare package here : geolog.ie/MAJORKILL70

Can you do Malcador’s relationship with each primarch? 🧙‍♂️

13:20 this is the horse that alexander rode into battle for his entire military career of 20ish years. After the battle of hydaspes, when bucephalus died, alexander founded around 20 cities named after him and renamed 70ish more after his horse. He never rode another horse into battle. Best boy.

It's worth pointing out that in The End and the Death, Horus (admittedly not the most reliable narrator by this point) claims that the Emperor was Alexander the Great. As such, the Bucephalus would have been the Emperor's horse. There is certainly something entertaining and very, very human about naming an enormous ship after your horse that died over 30,000 years ago. Must have been one hell of a horse.
  • @TheWarmachine375
It's a shame that the Imperium lost some of these ship classes during the 10,000 years of grimdark war.
  • @Historyfrek4ever
I just realized: It is kind of wholesome that emperor named one of his ships Bucephalus, since Emperor was canonically Aleksander the Great. He must have genuinely really like that horse, probably more than his sons.

I like the lore nugget that when the Mechanicus delivered The Khan his battle barge, he returned it and made them do it over because it wasn't fast enough.
  • @Owlexwizzardwolf
The emperor is shown having a few human moments, like naming his giant ship after a horse, I also love that when Ra asks him why he allows people to call him father, he references Pinocchio as an old childrens story from thousands of years ago, and that a little boy made out of wood was given life by his maker and the maker allowed the boy to call him father.

Getting a video about how each of the pre heresy primarchs would have reacted to being in Guillimans position of imperial regent would be pretty cool ngl. Seeing angrons new empire combust or perturabos vicious imperium would be amazing.
  • @Eliphas_
Video idea: How did the Emperor react to the betrayal of each traitor Primarch
  • @GRAVYTRAIN-gaming
The logical reason for melee combat in 40K is that swords don’t need ammo. People/ships can only carry so much. Think about the logistics of transporting trillions of tons of ammunition across the galaxy, now think about how much less you’d have to carry if you have everyone melee weapons. ( also it is just badass )

The Imperial Army used to have both ground and naval forces under one banner during the Great Crusade. But after the Horus Heresy, the Imperial Army has been divided into the Imperial Guard and the Imperial Navy where the two have interservice rivalry with each other.
  • @eatinganemone89
How would each of the Primarchs react if the Emperor told them he loved them?
  • @chrislyne377
Pretty sure the Invincible class is named for HMS Invincible (1907), the world's first battlecruiser which promptly blew up at the Battle of Jutland from a single hit to a turret which (mostly from poor ammunition handling rather than weak armour) set off her main magazine. Plus, there were 3 British battlecruisers which blew up at Jutland, the other two being HMS Indefatigable and HMS Queen Mary which both also suffered magazine explosions.
  • @Iceisnice1
A video about what each primarch would've done in Guilliman's place would be nice, ngl.
  • @Persona6Blue
FINALLY. I needed an explanation if a Gloriana class and Emperor class were the same ship or not and which is bigger. Hopefully this explains .
  • @poodlescone9700
I find it impressive every ship has a cathedral on them. If you do not come to the God Emperor, the God Emperor will come to you.
  • @stripeybag6977
Number one rule of Surviving on an Imperial vessel, don't name or go onto a ship with Purity in the name. Also Major Mini for Commissar Yarrick please.
  • @chickenmonger123
Ironclad Battleships are my favorite. Under utilized but I like them. Apparently created before every ship had Void Shields. Instead they were made with slabs of conventional armor materials. Many have been retrofitted in the 41st Millennium.
  • @ChnChn-in5kf
Fun fact Gullimen preference was many many small ships to cut up big ships and death by a thousand cuts
